    To anyone trying this- Pleaseeeee be careful putting hot glass into ice water, it is possible it will shatter. Happy valentines!

      Mhm. I made that mistake when I was 10, took a hot glass out of the dishwasher and filled it to the brim with ice cold sweet tea. I heard a cracking sound, and I was so confused until I went to pick up the glass and the bottom fell off. I was so lucky that it didn’t shatter entirely.

    Sugar waxing is so amazing! Legit, no other method of hair removal works for me. I've gotten chemical burned from hair removal creams and nicked from razors. I thought this would be scary, it isn't. It's still waxing tho, so prep the skin, hold it taut and after applying the wax, apply pressure so you don't bruise. Also, use corn starch or baby powder as application to keep the area dry. This method exfoliates your skin and actually takes time for the hair to grow. When I first did my leg, it took 5 days to get prickly! 🤗

    Despite the fact that I'm a man who has never shaved his legs before, you forgot the most important step. 😅 after you take it off the stove pour it on a cold surface..a big plate or a kitchen counter. Then you should stretch it between your fingers again and again until it changes from transparent to solid golden yellow. If you do it this way there will be no need for paper at all. you just take a piece and spread it out then "snatch" it off , and the same piece is used until it doesn't stick 😅
    P.S. leftovers can be kept in the freezer. And for all those who want to eat it, yes, you can make lollipops out of it 🤣

    • @molzy000
      @molzy000 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      it doesn't hurt as much (or at least shouldn't). this is because the sugar wax grips to dead skin cells and hair, not you skin, but from experience if you have longer hair than it will hurt more than having shorter hair. it gets easier the more you do it though, because the hair gets finer and finer and eventually some areas might even stop growing back! sugar waxing also exfoliates as it take dead skin cells with it.

    Just curious why do we add lemon in it?
    I tried it and it was my first time trying waxing and thought it would be quit painful but it was way less pain then expected.
    The pain was same, when i pull my hair by hand itself. As i started doing the different parts of leg i got used to the pain.
    It felt way better .

    • @SherienHesham
      @SherienHesham ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on how you store it. If you store in the refrigerator, then take it out a few hours before waxing and you can heat it on the least heat for about 20 seconds in the microwave, but don’t touch it immediately or it’s gonna hurt bad af. If you store it in a dry place, then do the microwave thing right away.
