I have always thought she was underrated and should have been a much bigger star in the US. I don’t want to comment or speculate about the attached concert other than hearing her voice here makes me very sad 😞. In her hay day, she was right up there with Whitney and Aretha.

This is the type of concert that ALL artists should emulate. No pre-recorded back tracking on vocals or instrumentation. No constant costume changes, dancers all over the place, set changes, and all that junk. That's why I stopped going to concerts long ago. I'd rather pay top dollar knowing you get a full band playing everything. The musicians and vocals are the star of the show, front and center, and that's it.

That's exactly what I'm thinking, viewing this performance for the first time. Not quite like Ronnie's - close. I really like enjoy most of her songs and band.
Whitney Fan47 her voice change very much i watch her 2013 java festival concert and her voice a bit clear ! But she smoking a box of cigarett a day! I think she have so much problem future her voice beacuse her angel voice It will not resurrect! Beacuse some high range of her voice was destroyed!
I agree! I think it was around 2013 she said she quit smoking but now she's back on the cigarettes hard again. I just wish she quit smoking permanently!

@@tamasfischer2464 Smoking shuts off your breathing capacity which is paramount for singing and reaching the high notes...but it's not permanent...if you quit smoking your voice strenght comes back...
