Hi ALL, I definitely give a 8/10, for Ronde de Bordeaux figs ! They are so sweet and delicious to appreciate. I bought one splendid RDB, 1 year ago and its growing up so nicely I like it!
I can thank you enough for sharing your Information, trips and knowledge of figs! I have said before I believe we have had ours for 5-7 years and only once had a few ripened figs. Then last year we almost had it die on us because of our cold weather. (We live in western Maryland) We did. It cover or shelter our tree 😩 So this year I was determined to seek out help. We took some of your advice and we have MANY figs ripening so we can harvest!!! I do not remember which variety we have, can you help us determine it?

First year my RdB has fruit. Showed up July 1st...how big are they supposed to get? Golf ballish?
Just FYI, “de” in French is pronounced like duh, not like day. So Ronde duh Bordeaux, Violette duh Bordeaux etc :) I notice all the US channels pronounce it as day, maybe because more people speak Spanish there than French?
Good afternoon Siri bought a fig tree a few years back it was labeled Ron de Bordeaux but it has broad leaves I was just wondering if some of the trees have broad leaves
I think I have one of these as a mislabeled fig I got from marketplace here in Aus. I am still trying to determine that. but I know for sure it’s not the Black Madeira I paid for. The tree has long five lobed leaves and is producing an early Breba crop. 😂
Was listening + learning as you were describing one of the fig tree I got this year - until you put the camera down... WOW~! WHAT A DREAM BOAT. sure looks delicious 😁😁😁😁!

Never buy a fig tree without seeing photos from the seller first.
