Love your video's! Seems a preconceived notion many people have about Mexico being a dangerous place. It's great to hear your perspective and truth! I really can't imagine you would build your house in a place that was truly "dangerous" I like the idea of blending in too! Smart idea. Lots of good and simple ideas here! Throw a rock in the direction of an aggressive dog if needed. Right on and Seems quite easy to be safe and also use our common sense. Love seeing your dogs. They are just precious! (Mexico is winning 3 to 0! )
Thank you for all your kind thoughts & feedback Patricia! I'm glad you're enjoying the content. I have to agree with you, the dogs are precious, and Mexico IS winning! 3 - 0 Haha ;)
That's the beauty of first hand knowledge, and not seeing or believing the mainstream media hey? Or is it just because you know me and you know I'll always be safe.. Either way it's good.
Haven't been yet but hoping to move over by next year. I have done tons of research which is so important. I have joined a few expat groups for info & followed some vloggers who have travelled all over Mexico & in my opinion as you say crime happens everywhere. From what I can see Mexico just keeps on giving & giving. I will be coming with my dog & it was a concern re: the street dogs as he was attacked when he was younger & due to this can be a bit vocal to other dogs. A woman in Playa Del Carmen said her dog keeps getting attacked & throwing the rocks didn't work so someone suggested in extreme cases to use pepper spray as her dog was getting hurt...she has a property there so not easy to up & move. Some of the dogs also are owned but allowed to roam free & those owners refuse to anything🥲....will just have to wait & see hopefully it won't be an issue for my boy. Thanks for sharing😁
Thanks for sharing, I'm wishing you the best on your journey! 😊 I resonate with everything you said. As for the woman in Playa, I'm suspecting her dog is not on a leash. If it was, using pepper spray would be extremely tricky & dangerous. If dogs are fighting the spray is going to hit all of them, including your own dog. If the wind blows the wrong way you may have an even bigger problem. A comparable solution that I mentioned in another video is a spray bottle with vinegar & some essential oils. (mint, tea tree ect) That in the face will also generally stop a dog. I would honestly avoid pepper spray, for your own safety & the safety of your dog.
@@BlueSkySanctuaryBaja The woman did say her dog is on a leash. She tried rocks, taking a stick with her & water spray but nothing worked. She did seem quite distressed & someone else suggested the pepper spray to her but I do agree with your points & will definitely stay away from that if I have any issues. Great tip on the water with vinegar & oils will definitely keep that in mind. Thank you😁
❤️ those dogs. I think untold you Oso looks so much like my Baja rescue from Tijuana, Vegas. Right down to the “luxury” tail. If I could include a photo here you would 😁. My heart aches for him. Thank you for sharing.
The luxury tail lol, I love it! It is SO luxurious for a street dog, haha, and burrs get caught in it all the time! Fortunately he's pretty patient with getting brushed. I'm sorry your heart hurts, is your pup gone now?
Great tips and I'm glad your safe! Mexico isn't like how the media or other government's make it sound. Not one bit! The dogs are so cute, and nice job giving them a new, way better life!
Hi Nazaire, you'll be arriving just at the start of the high season but I imagine you'd be able to find something? It depends greatly on your budget & what you're looking for! Airbnb is always a good place to look. Glad you're enjoying the videos, thanks for tuning in!
It absolutely can be, depending where you are of course. Before renting or buying a place I would definitely go by at night at least a few times to see what the nighttime dog situation is!
Bad people are everywhere but we have not had any bad experiences yet while traveling around and vlogging here in Mexico.
I second that Doug!
My wife and I have been to Cabo and we really liked San Jose del Cabo. Especially the Art Walk on Thursday nights.
I really like San Jose too, although I go to Cabo more often because it's closer.. They're both great in their own ways aren't they, so diverse!

You’re so awesome! Keep up the good work.
Aw, thanks so much!
Just realized I've never been concerned about your safety once. Sweet dog story at the end, great pack.

@@BlueSkySanctuaryBaja Just cuz I know you're tough and smart. : )

@@BlueSkySanctuaryBaja yes he has been gone for over a year and I miss him every day. I can’t wait to move to Mex so I can adopt another (or 2 😁).

Every TH-cam video should end with cute doggies, just sayin'
Hi I’m planning on visiting next month. Is there any place for rent around your area. Thanks for your videos.

my biggest concern is dogs barking all night. is it a problema?
