I asked my cousin (who is 11 years old, and likes all that pop/r&b mainstream crap) if she has ever listened to classical music, which I guess would be a stupid question but the answer I got was even worse: "no and im not planning on it" ..... -_- It makes me sad that there are people who don't even at least respect classical. I mean, I don't expect everybody to listen to it, but c'mon, classical is one of the most innovative genres of music, give respect..... This piece is among my favorites :)
I have other facets to my personality, and people like Mozart are there to inspire people in whatever they choose to do in life. I can come back after all this time, and still appreciate his music. Obsessing over something isn't genuinely appreciating it, it's comparable to a childish phase. You probably don't understand what I'm saying but you will when you grow up. Bye.
Very nice. Strong and soft. Great. I love this piece. Like a dialogue with the creator... without words, but you understand the idea, the emotions... beautiful
He had talent simple why is that so hard to comprehend? Some people in this world have impressive skills its just that simple. Don't over think this too much he was just very good because he was born with a special talent thats just it. The truth
@zildjianx Good point, except I posted that about 4 months ago. I've grown to care a lot less about these kinds of things in that time lol. I'm 16 years old, but I still think that children should be raised to hold at least a hint of reverence for classical music.
im surprised there are no bodom comments yet XD watched amadeus yesterday and the whole time i was like :O. My appreciation for classical is now growing indefinitely. As soon as the movie started I recognized the peice, this would be what they used in their intro for red light in my eyes pt.2 (0:00 - 0:20)
@PM332 Well that's really good to hear, also a good thing to hear that at least somebody in the world is setting a good example for their kids. But yeah, I can listen to classical music forever. It has got to be the most melodious and harmonious type of music out there, in my opinion. Although I will admit that I do like death metal, but 95% of any death metal I will ever listen to is melodic death metal because I love the guitar solos :)
His first name was Wolfgang He was 17 when this was composed he could've played Tchaikovsky's s piano concerto number 1 at 7 years old Mozart is G.O.A.T
Yeah well, don't get too cozy with Amadeus, there's a lot of symbolism in the movie but it's not accurate. Amadeus is a great film, because you can watch it over and over again and each time feels different as you observe more symbolic meaning. In truth, the rivalry between Mozart and Salieri is usually compared to that of Beethoven vs. Rossini, and of course not as sinister as the film portrays. Convincing him to compose his own death mass is pure symbolism.
I've been listening to this for a couple days now while I study, as a sort of white noise. I think I can hear sirens in the background. lol this piece is the only thing I listen to over and over and I think I hear sirens at a particular.
@Kizales: meh, have faith. I grew up liking death metal (still can listen to it but choose not to to set an example to kids) until I was in my late 20s, atlhough I liked other music too. Now in my mid-later 30s all I try to do is listen to classical, at least 80% of the time. I can listen to it all day. some of us just take a little longer to grow out of it, but if I could do it so can your cousin! just keep praying for him, ;).
We are, you can't judge our evollution on a Kid.. We have tons of great stuff and great people that can do things never thought before. Learn to enjoy the Present.
@CSPlayerDamon yes, it is the embodiment of his father, through his opera don giovanni, in which the subplot indicates mozarts regret as an unthankful son. wether it is only so in the movie or he felt this self dissapointment in real life, i do not know however.
I guess this song use a molto Allegro wow I feel this is the song of Happiness , a hornor and woww umm a complex thing umm it hard to explain form piano to fortesimmo and form fortesimo to piano wowww I love it
Honestly, have as many musical debates as you can about these composers. This way, it proved people are still intereste in them and their music. Just don't mention Justin Bieber, good lord.
This piece, symphony no. 25 in G minor K. 183/173dB was composed in 1773. If you were a real fan, you'd know this, considering it came after a very successful opera he completed shortly prior to this piece. I suppose if that Justin Bieber kid is 17, then he was the same age, but see, I don't know how old Justin Bieber is, and I don't care. If you want to start a mindless conversation, go to a pop music video and do it.
MrBORREGUIUX Si gustas puedes suscribirte a mi canal para que lo veas cuando lo suba, probablemente en unos 4 dias lo publique en lo que lo grabo y demas cosas, saludos :)
Since you are so convinced of my age, which you are wrong about, I thank you for proving your level of maturity by arguing with a "child". Obviously, someone needs to find a more constructive activity than seeking out comments written by "children" and then proceeding to argue them on comment boards. And I corrected you on his first symphony, not his first piece of music ever written. There is proof that he was nine years old. Please go do your job and stop wasting your time here.
If you looked at the time I wrote the comment, Justin Bieber was 17 years old. By the way, Mozart's first symphony was written at 8 years, not nine. Please check your own facts before trying to correct someone else's, which weren't wrong in the first place.
I guess this song use a molto Allegro wow I feel this is the song of Happiness , a hornor and woww umm a complex thing umm it hard to explain form piano to fortesimmo and form fortesimo to piano wowww
I know you corrected me on his first symphony, since you suffer from one dimensional thought, I was simply saying these compositions are well over 200 years old. I could've even used a full scale opera as an example, stop looking for smoking guns using elementary knowledge and then nit picking generalizations that are neither here nor there. Speaking of corrections, I thought he was 8 when he completed his first symphony? You just said nine, ha, you're done.
Actually, you mistake this "little" g minor symphony with the "great" g minor symphonyno 40 KV 550 from 1788 (written alongside with 39th and 41st "Jupiter".
Oh, that's indeed not what I understood by it. I think that "advanced" music will never be appreciated by the mediocre minds. Not in the stone age, not in Mozart's age and not in the present. As, by definition, "advanced" is not mediocre, nor for the mediocre. Advanced is relative. If we'd all be as gifted as Mozart, we wouldn't call him brilliant. In other words: I don't see humanity devolved. I don't have much confidence in the musical taste of most people in any era.

Very nice. Strong and soft. Great. I love this piece. Like a dialogue with the creator... without words, but you understand the idea, the emotions... beautiful
Mozart wrote this when he was 17 years old. How can that be?
well, he was a genius
And like most geniuses, he was tortured in/by life.
He had talent simple why is that so hard to comprehend? Some people in this world have impressive skills its just that simple. Don't over think this too much he was just very good because he was born with a special talent thats just it. The truth
Is talent like that written on the face?
Amazing symphony

Qu'est-ce qui est parfait, ne peut être réecrit.
- Wolfang Amadeus Mozart
This is amazing!
Amadeus Soundtrack must be the most powerful original soundtrack up to current moment. Who can beat Mozart and his "collection", anyway?
Beethoven !
what a masterpiece, in my opinion mozarts best.

From "Amadeus". A Milos Forman motion picture promotional poster.
I enjoy how his music was seen as too new and controversial to the older generation. Some themes never change.
Excelente tema para comenzar el día
Coś wspaniałego!!!

Most of the mystery surrounding Requiem's commission comes from the fact that it was never finished.
talent used to be awarded. now its stardom and marketing
i lost myself in the music and the figure's eyes.
the video was awesome !!!!!!1 so was the one about Bethoveen
Esto es energia sonora!
Outstanding music. I have it up very loud. As good as N.I.B, or Echoes at Pompeii

Mozarts attitude was really like in the movie?
I wanted to ask the same question.
On that day, music played in my head, but the voice of God whispered in his, and he was chosen over me.
I saw the movie when I was 11. Most musically infuential moment of my life also :)
@Fattomz If I remember correctly, the ghost of Mozart's father.
bellisima
@GrigoryanFilm Symphony No. 29... and many others...
@mozartsmusicblog was that when he was 2? XD
And im pretty sure that at that age he knew that the sistine chapel wasn't called the "16th chapel" as the bieber girl assumed.

Can anyone please recommend me more songs like this by Mozart? I'm not a big fan of the slower pieces. Thank you.
Oh Dad, we're ALL Devo!
Do you know where I could get the sheet music for this for the Violin? D:
4:26
Beauty ♥
Why is this called the Amadeus soundtrack?
Oh I love the Germanic people!
Why does this make me think of Big O?
@ivanoschen 29 is still a bit slow.
Oh, that's indeed not what I understood by it.

Are we not men? Dee Eee Vee Oh!
this is what i heard when i saw my girlfriend making out with someone else
