If you have Marvel Legends Series 1 or the varient of Hulk, it is the same body sculpt. I never took those figures out of the package. Typical Hasbro cutting corners, lol.
I know it’s dated, but I’ve always wanted that one. Such a cool figure aesthetically. I have the old Toybiz one that used that mold first and I love it. One thing in particular that I love about that mold (at least on the Toybiz one) was that they sculpted and painted ridges on his nails. That’s an amount of detail we don’t see anymore on legends.
@@BoogSReviews I completely understand your point. I just have to be honest and critical with the reviews. I have the original toy biz as well but they are boxed, so I never got to really play around with them. There are a lot of good things about the 2008 figure and you should definitely get it if you enjoy the original! I gave it an 8, which isn’t a bad score at all.
Dang! cool Hulk fig. Missed out on that one. During that time in 2008, I've already stopped collecting action figures. If you collected the 1st wave of ToyBiz Marvel Legends way back in 2002, that is the exact same body sculpt that was used on the Hulk from that first wave. Since Hasbro owns the old molds from ToyBiz, when they took over, they reused that old Hulk body sculpt for that 2008 MCU Hulk fig. You have very impressive collection there by the way.
I bought this a few months back DJ. Didn't open it but love that you have this today. Pleasant surprise for me and your right about the packaging being different for marvel legends
Back in the day I was so shocked that Hasbro re used 6-7 year old Toybiz body from first legends series, yet now we have figures that have bodies going back to 10-12 years ago...
Yeah this is just a reissue of the very first Marvel Legends Hulk figure ever made, only with a new head sculpt, and a different paint wash. Super rad packaging though, and I still love the movie itself. I still have this figure, and it's still a keeper for me.
@@GammaBro_DJ I think my favorite Marvel Legends Hulk was the one released in The Avengers 1 wave. I think it may have been a Walmart exclusive. It looked like Ruffalo's Hulk in Avengers 1. It's got such a great shape and face to it.

Had no idea this figure existed. This era of Marvel Legends i had fallen out of collecting because I didn't like alot of the decisions HAsbro made with the Marvel liscence. TOday its great but back then it was so much miss and not a lot of hit. This is honestly an example of that. Like This body sculpt is from series 1 of marvel legends! Of all the bodies they could have reused for the hulk they used this one with very outdated articulation at that point. Just baffling of how much they were just not cooking at all with Marvel. Great video though!
@@ragingtothemax Right after I made the video, I pinned the first comment stating it was a re-used body mold from series 1. I agree with you about the strange choices they sometimes make. Hasbro has definitely been all over the place with quality over the years. Great comment and ty!
@@Goblin-King- Honestly I feel he is a more stand alone piece. He technically is in scale and will look ok with other legends. The more recent Hulk legends are taller and more muscular overall. If you really love the look of this figure then you can make it work 👍. Hope this helps you…
I loved and hated this figure because the head sculpt is cool and looks like the character from the movie, but they lazily just slapped it on the original marvel legends Hulk body, which doesn’t match up how he looks whatsoever in the film
One of the WORST ever Hulk figures! It's proportions are awful, the likeness was way off, the paint and articulation sucks, no fists...etc! I threw this thing in storage about a week after I wasted money on it! It's a shame that we didn't get better Hulk 2008 figures!
@@manofsteel3396 Ouch!! I agree with your points and I stated what you’re saying in the review. I’ll eventually do a top 10 worst 6 inch hulk figures. No Hulk Figure is a waste of money in my eyes 😁. Maybe sell it so someone who wants it can enjoy it 👍.

Although it’s least likely to happen. They NEED to remake the Incredible Hulk line. A ML Norton Hulk would look INSANE if it were made today.
I completely agree! Why not throw in a 2003 version as well.
