100% agreed about the Winged Eagle. Reggie Parks' masterpiece. It's weird to think that the big logo belt has been around longer than the Winged Eagle. I personally would have never changed it except to update logos. There's something to be said about traditions in wrestling in my opinion.
Change is always good as long as nice looking titles get their time to shine. As much as I like the Winged Eagle it was time to introduce a new look. Sadly they didn't keep the Undisputed V2 around long enough, and the 'W' belt way over stayed it's welcome. I'm glad to see WWE made a new World Heavyweight title. Now they need to get rid of that garbage 'W' Undisputed title for something new. But for me, I like to see new versions of title belts. Belts like the Winged Eagle definitely deserved about 8 years of use but even they need a new variation after awhile.

It wasn't officially recognized. Neither was DeBiase. Also there's photos of Luger wearing it in 1993, he's not listed as someone who held the Winged Eagle either.
Now that's a nice looking Winged Eagle. The only part of that belt that I'd like to see different, and it's not a major issue, is I'd like to see a tighter cut on the strap at the area of the top front plate. Too much black strap showing. Other than that it's beautiful. Oh, and I would want 'Macho Man' on the 6th plate. I'm a Hogan fan too, but I'd like own a belt that honors Macho Man.
@SpenserKuzub I purchased mine used from an admin on a belt page. They won't advertise it because they don't want to get shut down. Same with Muhammad Nawaz, if you post one of his belts on his page they want the WWF logos covered up to avoid Facebook shutting his business page down.
I agree with the logo, the reason the logo is like that is cause of a lawsuit by the world wildlife federation they are no longer allowed to sell merch with the WWF logo
Although they did have Figures Inc continue making winged eagle and classic Intercontinental belts after the switch to WWE for about another 2 years. I'm just not going to buy their official replicas with incorrect logos. I'll go the bootleg route.
That's wrong. It's for market confusion issues. Everything has to be WWE to avoid that. They sold things with the old logo FOR YEARS after the lawsuit. And anyway, they only reason they had to change to WWE is because WWE blatantly refused to go along with a court order demanding they cease using the WWF initials internationally. The judge rightfully made them pay dearly for it.
Go watch my videos on my Undisputed V1 from ORM or my stacked big eagle from X Man belts, both of those are SD instead of HD. HD means you can read the small lettering, with SD lettering isn't very legible. In the case of this winged eagle, the stars have no defined shape in SD, they will in HD.
I have the WWF belts. Heavy Weight, Intercontinental belt and Light Heavy Weight belt. I need to get the Classic World Tag Team belt them my collection will be done. The WWE logo belts no thanks because I just don't like them.

I don't know how you purchased this belt from ORM. I haven't seen anything on their website mentioning a winged eagle!
