I asked & paid Maynarde bit to get the games casted! Super happy he said yes! (I suck at casting) Hope you guys enjoy! A like/subscribe would be nice! Daniel
Oh, it's Maynarde casting, and with in the context of what he's saying and I also missed "*not* super "cosha"" I understood he meant not super cautious.
That's why Maru lost i think. He didn't respect his opponent. On 2nd game he saw the lings coming in and the roaches but he trusted himself so much to hold it, that he just continued with scv count instead of marines
this doesn't really feel like cheese. Just a highly aggressive type of play. I like seeing this kind of stuff mixed in with your basic roach timings/baneling bust games. So much of standard SC2 seems repetitive. Nice for fans to get a bit of flavor. GGs Meo!
@Volk Raider I dunno. Like the casters said, you dont need a ton of creep spread if you have the terran pinned down all game. He might have missed injects, but I would have liked to have seen the game from his viewpoint, or even an apm count. If he was neglecting macro in focus on his harassment, i'd say it was a good choice 0(i mean he did 2-0 maru.) but sure, landing more injects is a possible area of improvement for this very interesting new name! don't think it serves us to call maru "a much better player" here though. Maybe I'm wrong and meo will get a rep for being aggressive and everyone will know how to counter him successfully. But for now I'm interested to see more from him!
I classify cheese as abusing game mechanics like with protoss prism juggling which just stupid and probe wall offs in turret rushes. That is what I call truly cheese.
So methodical. In game 2, after gaining the lead early it felt like he threw some expensive units away with the hydra drop and the pressure on the front door into siege. But no, Meo was just forcing Maru to keep building tanks for his Vipers to counter later. He kept Maru as a known quantity for the whole game, taking away any ability for Maru to surprise him. Haven't seen anything quite like this from Zerg in SC2. Beautifully done.
GREAT CAST! Amazing to see Maru get so overwhelmed. I imagine it is actually really hard for him to fight in those situations because he is used to dominating xD
I'm glad to see Maru fighting for the match even when things seem wrapped up though. I know SC2 is a bit of a snowball game and it's nearly impossible to do real comebacks, but it's cool to see the spirit of it.
Partly its MAru being too greedy and made too many SCV without proper defensive army. Agression is nice, but if your opponent has the proper defense, its pretty suicidal.

Not criticizing, but thought it was pretty amusing at 24:10 MeomaikA setting vipers to drink the hive when there's an entirely redundant hydra den right there.
You need couple vipers, while at the same time you need hydras all the time. Keeping the vipes alive is what must be done, then terran can stick the hive up his ass if he likes to do so, while pool and hydra den are the most important target, outside of drone, obviously. Both games were on MeoMaika's hand at the very moment maru did not respected him anyways.

Kaleius Arkulth yep! Although some part of me couldn't help but wonder if a muta pivot could've ended the last game at least a few minutes earlier. He already had the decisive map and income advantages, he just needed AtG units to screw off those seige tanks.
Daniel STX I don't actually think he is good in the least, he wins games because he is bad and some players show him respect that is just not deserved.
