Even after SNL. Dr Spaceman in 30 Rock was one of the best characters. Cyril in Archer, Jerry in Rick and Morty...it's sad he doesn't get that much credit...

+RagnarTheRed I've read somewhere that most of Dr. Spacemen's lines in 30 Rock are pure improv. If that's true, he really got talent, that character is funnier than the janitor in Scrubs (which is completely improvised too)
