Have you tried the cloth mat? Im having trouble deciding if i should buy base game or lockdown. I can buy both for decent price. Ive seen pros and cons for both games however i like the base game setting similar to alien movies. But i do like the unique new mechanics and minor updates with lockdown. But lockdown is more complicated to an already hard game
I don’t have the cloth mat. Sounds cool. As far as which one, go with the one that excites you most, but in my opinion I think it’s best to start with Lockdown. It just takes Nemesis and improves what’s already good. The extra rules are not really more complicated than the base game. Either one has a learning curve and will require a bit of rule book referencing, but not one more than the other.
Voidseeders will add to what you already have and it costs less than Lockdown, but if you’re going for Wow factor id go lockdown. It really improves the original game and just makes me smile.

I have the base game Nemesis, awaiting my overpriced untold stories. lol. What would you buy next? Voidseeders or Lockdown?
