    ABOUT TODAYS VIDEO:
There are a half dozen common worm types that can affect your dog so here's the major signs to look out for:
    • If your dog vomits or coughs up, check the contents for signs of life such as 1inch long wriggly roundworms that look like spaghetti. Often coughing up is due to roundworms passing through the lung causing irritation and the worm is coughed up. I've personally seen this situation happening on several occasions.
    • Does your dog have a fever?
    • Does your dog lick their rear end or scoot about on their bum indicating possible tape worm eggs that look like sesame seeds stuck around the anal exit (be sure it's not an anal gland issue first).
    • Your dogs stool is key to prognosis. Check for any jelly like substance, small rice grains, long and very thin stringy vermicelli like noodles, brown globs of mucus or 1inch long white pinworms.
    • Your dog can go off his food, be lethargic and have a dull lifeless coat.
    • The opposite can be true where your dog is ravenously hungry all the time and is still losing weight with a distended belly as the worms are eating his food in the gut.
If you suspect worms but can't be sure, the next thing to do is take a quarter sized portion of fresh stool sample in a clean plastic container to your vet to be analyzed.
There are generally four main types of internal worms dogs can become infected with and these are:
    • Roundworms
    • Hookworms
    • Tapeworms
    • Whipworms
How to Naturally Treat A Dog With Worms:
For complete eradication of all dog worms using a natural treatment, I highly recommend using a tincture of Black walnut, clove and wormwood. It's natures answer to de-populating worms in your dog. The combination of these three natural ingredients will kill the adult worms, larvae and eggs, breaking the worm life cycle.
    • Black Walnut Hulls come from the black walnut tree
    • Wormwood comes from the Artemisia shrub
    • and Common Cloves come from the clove tree
What's the benefit of using a natural home remedy for worms in dogs ?
By combining the three herbs as a single treatment, you'll kill the adults, the developmental stages and the eggs of at least 100 different parasites in your dog.
It's 100% natural, made from wild herbs and effective on liver flukes, amoebas, giardia, coccidia and all the worms mentioned above.
How to Get Rid of Worms in Dogs?
You can obtain this combination treatment as a readymade bottled tincture. The treatment plan involves putting drops into your dogs food daily over a two week period, stopping for a week then continue with another two week application. The included instructions will give you the correct amount to give according to human weight, on average 150lb. So for example, a 50lb dog would take 1/3rd of the dose, a 25lb dog 1/6th of the dose and so on.
Besides treating worms in dogs, it's also very effective against yeast infections and Urinary Tract Infections (UTI's)
Don't use with pregnant or lactating dogs.

@@Irock827 You administer the drops once daily in food and the drop amount is determined by your dogs weight (see dogs weight dose size chart pinned at top of comment section under the video for your dogs size). Give for 14 days, then stop 7 days, then give for a further 14 days and finished. This kills all life stages of the worms.

@@DanScott1 Aww thank you Dan. I've had dogs all of my life & have NEVER had a dog with giardia. Right now I'm doing the black walnut tincture (2 drops for my 6lb poodle in the pic), freshly ground pumpkin seeds & grated raw carrots. I also make a turmeric paste (turmeric, coconut oil, cinnamon, black pepper) that I add into their food. My German shepherd does a fermented clove of garlic every morning with me but I can't get the 2 little ones to take it. What else would you recommend? What's your opinion on grapefruit seed extract? Should I continue the probiotics while giving them all of the above? I make my own food so it's very nutritionally dense. I bought the green vibrance you recommended but haven't started it yet. My sister keeps insisting that the worms will not go away without the poisonous meds from the vet.

@@susanmatzdorff2557 I’m still trying to find out how long to run the protocol after a strong heartworm positive. We rescued a dog from a local pound and upon getting her spayed we had her tested while she was there because we were certain it would yield a positive result. Sure enough it did. We are in the middle of the very first cycle now and once we complete the final week of the drops I don’t really know where to go or where to start again from there. I assume she will still be positive by the end of this cycle and would need multiple cycles to kill all the heartworms because the vet said she has so many babies in her blood. No one will answer our questions and we’ve asked multiple vets on multiple sites including this one. We really don’t want to stop the drops for fear the remainder of the worms will quickly populate again. Right now she’s coughing a little and throwing up clear froth on occasion but not enough to be concerning. Have you found any other sites where questions are being answered? We’re concerned we’ll stop too soon and the heartworms will just get much worse.

The pup’s stools do have speckles in them and I’m pretty sure that they are positive for worms. I got some Iverhart from the vet clinic for the pups and gave it to them with their meals today... my question is, can I still give the dogs this natural treatment even though I gave them Iverhart today? Should I also treat my 3 year old dog with this remedy too even though she’s on simparica ?

    • @DanScott1

Use the remedy as stated in the video for all worms, it's natural and effective: amzn.to/2RjOSCN
I'd wait a few days for the iverheart to clear the kidneys then proceed with the natural treatment. For the Feist give 4-6 drops and the pups 1-2 drops (11lb pup) and 4 drops (17lb pup).
Treat all three dogs together as worms spread easily.

Third: he went back because he wasn’t showing signs of improvement and they gave him more medication. It’s been a week since the last visit and he started showing a little bit of improvement. A tad bit more active and he started eating human food again. (Bland chicken and bread). Won’t touch anything else. Now he refuses even that. I tried giving my 4 month old pitbull puppy a mixture of black walnut and wormwood tincture, she died 3 hours later. she was already losing life vomiting and puking blood and mucus, she would not eat or drink water or food . I had to force her mouth open and feed her the tincture with a dropper. It seemed like she was getting better when she laid down but when i left and came back she was gone. Please be careful using these tinctures. you may over dose on a puppy and kill it like i did. best thing to do is to get a dewormer made for a dog's stomach.

At what stage are the heartworms? If the dog is in good shape and the kidneys/liver/blood numbers are good, then you can use this remedy but knowing the heartworm progression is very helpful as this will kill the worms but it's then the dead worm flow out of the body that can be intoxicating.
This method I present gets the job done effectively but is a one and done whereas you might need a slower less invasive method. Any more details?

Hello my dachshund puppies are 1 week old w/roundworms from mom. How soon can I start giving them drops .. do you think next week !

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

You cant use vets meds or the one I recommend in this video, the pups are too young, they need to be more that 10 weeks. try some pumpkin seed, well crushed. I assume they will be on mothers milk till 6 weeks, then starting some hard food, what is that hard food. I recommend fresh food diets as kibble is not great nutrition for pups. Raw green tripe is great complete nutrition puppy food at 6 weeks. I think it best you wait until they can take hard food before treating.
      Pumpkin Seeds
Pumpkin seeds and pumpkin seed oil are solutions often recommended to fight parasites in your dog’s GI tract. And here’s why. Pumpkin seeds contain specific antioxidants and compounds that include tetracyclic triterpenes and
cucurbitins. They paralyze worms and make it difficult for them to survive in the intestinal walls.
You can feed your dog ground raw hulled pumpkin seeds spread over meals each day.
1 cup per day for extra-large dogs from 100 lbs and up
¾ cup per day for large dogs 50 to 100 dogs
½ cup per day for medium dogs 30 to 50 lbs
¼ cup per day for small dogs 15 to 30 lbs
1-2 tsp per day for toy dogs up to 15 lbs

I've held off on giving him Safeguard, thanks to your advice, and am planning to purchase the three component tincture discussed in your video. His stool has been formed but soft for a good while, so I suspect the Giardia is still present. Otherwise, he's quite frisky, has a great appetite, and a decent coat...except he seems to be losing his outer coat. Weird! Anyhow, is it safe to use the tincture if my dog hasn't been tested recently for Giardia and may not have it anymore? Also, I have him on Simperica Trio and was wondering if that might contraindicate somehow. Love your videos. Thanks in advance for your advice!

@@markwille414 Yes together is just fine. There's several options for flea and tick, I've have videos on this. You can use Neem oil diluted with a carrier oil you then dab on the usual places and no ticks/fleas/mozzies will come near as it will kill them if any touches them: amzn.to/3iV0Igq
For other options, see my videos on the subject.

Hi Lulu, great question, I'd add just a few drops, say 3-4 drops to food.

Both will kill all worms in dogs.
      Pleasure to help.
