Nice work man, keep it up with JDM builds!
Nice work....i really like this!! For the next project i hope to see a f1 model car!!
Nice work! Really good 👍🏽
Great video Tom, and very relevant to my modelling this weekend when I realised 1) that my hands are nowhere near as steady as they used to be, 2) I can't see a thing when I spray as my (small) booth is in front of a window, and 3) the LED lighting in my booth is crap for spraying. We're gonna need a bigger booth.
Good job always.
All your models are amazing
I really enjoy watching your videos and I admire your work!😮😯
Also I would like to make a Mitsubishi evo x
Neat car tom 👍
Nice job man...
Very nice. What kind of pencil do you use for marking the windows befor you put the masking tape on?
It's these Cibie headlights though, I like these parts, for the Trueno AE86.
Is this masking tape better than the FROG TAPE brand?
Dang, nice job dude. when are you going to do a Mustang Cobra?
ШЕДЕВ!
Have you ever used Black Bare Metal Foil for the trim
no
What happened to the rear window , the paint seems strange.
Did not go as planned. So had to make the best out of it i could
Nice job, Tom! Neatly dealt with the clear surfaces! Why in heaven Honda didn't put the rear wiper on a roof mount? It looks very odd and out of place as is! Cheers! Gabriel 👍
What do you clean your airbrushes with afterwards?
Airbrush cleaner
The Scalemodeling Channel ok but what kind
Zero paints
How come you never get bleed through? When I mask off the kit I'm building, no matter how much I burnish down the masking tape, I always manage to get some bleed through. Brilliant work though
Andrew Drabble what tape do you use? He basically using masking tape for bodyshops jut cut down for this hobby. We use this yellow masking tape at work with no problems. I am a body man by trade.
I use the decorators white tape. Maybe that's the problem
Andrew Drabble just try the the yellow tape tamiya carries it.. 3M also make one called fine line tape.. hope this helps on your next builds..
A couple other things to try:
1, make your first coat very light. That will ‘plug’ any gaps preventing the next coats from creeping under.
2, make the first coat clear or the same color as the base. That also will seal the edge, but you won’t see if it bleed under.
Hope this makes sense.
I have been using frog tape with great results (in yellow), its basically the same as the Tamiya I find.
Not sure why the sun roof is clear in this kit , CRX sunroofs were all painted to match the body
It does look good tho
the jdm cars had the option for a glass sunroof i think. i know they had the panoramic roof
theHippy86 nope , the only clear sunroofs were aftermarket and that’s not shaped like the clear roof
theHippy86 they probably just used the same one off the EF kit to save money
отлично
I know what car you should build. a koenigsegg agera rs
Isn‘t that getting boring After 10 Years ?
What?
The Scalemodeling Channel you are doing this for 10 years and why isn‘t this getting boring
