new here, sorry if this sounds dumb but....I noticed on tax deed bids anything starting bid under 1k, only had an assed value of >200. Why is it advantages to bid higher than assed value?? I mean I get it, to secure the bid, but if its not worth what your even bidding,,,,
hey there, there's a difference between the counties assessed value and the market value. if the market (like on Zillow or something) says its worth 5k, then you'll likely be able to sell it at that price. the starting bid is just how much in taxes this land owes
