Tom had a breakdown around 2016ish meds doctors gave were horrible. He researched and got something that brought him back to himself so researched to get himself better. Breakdown came from drinking heavily for a very long time. Been on different podcasts where he talks about it. Awesome song and collab. Great reaction.❤️🙏🇨🇦🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

You had asked if Tom's verse was about him I would say yes just based on what he's spoken about in other songs, lives, interviews ect. He did a really in depth interview with Dopey Podcast, its long but worth it, where he explains his past of addiction. I know his addiction included alcohol, Xanax/Ativan, Oxy (and some other non rx drugs) and he is sober now from all that but he has mentioned prescribed psych meds so im not sure if he is drawing from the past or present with those. I know that he struggled with the medication not working so he does hike, run and spend time outdoors to help, he also has said he isnt against use of medication for short term but it is a bandaid and needs to be fixed at the root cause. I do believe they moved from the city. Pretty sure he's talking about himself but Im not sure in which context.

Adam and Mesus have been friends for a long time. They did battle rap together in Chicago when they were in their late teens/early twenties.

Yeah, the 106 and Park bar was referring to the show. I heard that a guy named "Jin" won a bunch on the show. I vaguely remember the show. I never watched much TV. Hopefully, somebody else can elaborate more on that.
I used to have my ways to deal with my mental issues like gym and working at a construction site and do some hard physical work. It helped. Then i fucked up my back and now i'm going down hill again and don't know what to do. I need to get my hands on something. Keeps me busy and calm.

Hey just a heads up your background sounds when your speaking is very loud it makes it hard (for me) to hear from you. Also only about 25% of Toms music is Political his album are full of non political music, its just that the listeners on youtube love the political stuff and it gets more spread.
I think "stoned" is a double - He did used to get stoned - but also being stoned by haters and stuff (throwing hate/rocks)
Mesus (like Jesus) is one hell of a lyrical rapper! The entire industry is sleeping on him. In the past few years he's been labeled as a political rapper for talking about current issues. A few songs to get you started would be.
