Never seen a phantom till my neighbour brought one home, I couldn't get over the size of it, I knew they where big cars but holy shit they're huge.

The first time I saw a phantom... Oh wait, I have never seen a Phantom, or any RR for that matter. The best Car I have seen was a base 911 Carrera.

This is probably one of your best videos to date. You're absolutely right about everything you say in regard to how Rolls' are built - there isn't a single corner cut, nor any expense spared. And that's the way it should be!

Thank you for your thoughtful review. If you can love a car, this is the one. Truly this is a grand motor car. I got to sit in one at the dealership and they were so nice, they even gave me a DVD on how they are built. This was in 2015-2016 when they were still being manufactured. I dream of owning one and can still feel the sensation of the steering wheel in my hands as I pray and envision owning one someday.

Phantom's drive/ride experience is unlike any other car. It is perhaps the smoothest driving car in existence, and probably the most elegant of any car out there. I can't wait until I get in one again!
This particular RR Phantom Drophead Coupe has the best specification in my opinion. It just looks so badass and classy :3

Never have been a fan of RR or big luxury cars that much. But you have to appreciate the level of engineering and craftsmanship in each single one of these cars. It really is a road going yacht.
Honestly...what a baller ! You can actually see the inertia the of the car has everytime it steers. Timeless class.

Great video. Quality Xcar stuff that I want to see more of. Excellent cinematography... Even if is did sort of copy the top gear bit James did with the Rolls, at night, in London. But imitation is flattery and anyone that can imitate top gear level production is pretty impressive.

That is why all these stories are made up about Ferrari owners and drivers being in a special way and many call them dickheads. Jealousy at it's strongest. And most start by stating the opposite to justify their attacks, that they are not jealous. The higher up in class and price you go, the more they will hate you. Usually TH-cam videos about cars are up to 95% filled with jealousy and hate comments.

What a fucking motor. The thing just oozes class, those little white walls on the tyres man....its just the absolute dogs. Nothing on the planet says "I've made it" more than a roller. I love that car.

Yeah, just what it needs, a hardtop and more weight. Soft tops definitely have advantages, the E class cabrio is a soft top also.
+Ian Sherman obviously they don't care about weight. It already weighs more than a mountain. A hard top would just give it an even better sense of quality.

In Ireland you pronounce rice as Royce, apparently the owners of a car company were in an Irish café trying to decide what to come up with a brand name, they asked what came with the chicken curry? The Irish café owner said "sorry but were out of chips, but you can have ROLLS or ROYCE " the rest is Motor industry history.

The mobile ringing in the background sounds like Jeremy clarksons from Top gear around the time he test drove the Bugatti veyron special.
Only downside to this car that I encountered is the fairly limited rear legroom, considering the overall vehicle dimensions. Sadly, it is true that Rolls-Royces CEO announced that both Coupe and Drophead Coupe will be permanently discontinued by the end of 2016, so Dawn will be the solely open-top Rolls-Royce, Wraith the solely coupe.

boy638 the phantom coupe is a more elegant car. i also prefer the more squared off profile of the phantom to the rear swooped wraith. the wraith is sweet, obviously, but it's also boisterous and in-your-face. if i had my pick, i would prefer the phantom coupe.
to me both are still pretty in-your-face-im-rich, so if i can afford one i would choose the wraith, but thats my personal opinion :)
