its a battle not a session. salah is the best batteler in the popping scene, everyone knows that. if you didnt then you dont know anything about popping. yes nelson had sick overall flow and consistency of hitting every beat...but thats just one portion of judging. Salah actually battled. He clearly showed muscality, he used animation to attack nelson and please the crowd, and added a few tricks to show creativeness. In just about every aspect salah won this BATTLE. Thats why he rarely loses....
i need to see it up close.................
salahs first round was magic.... he was soooo on point and the moves dont really get better than salah's.

Salah 3rd round was really good, surprisingly i like all of Nelson rounds, I can see why he won. Technically Nelson is one of the best and one of the hardest hitters.

and I love how they make it a big deal because its the championship and that "one person is going to win and the other has to go home"...and then they don't even show us who wins! I guess they thought it so just that obvious that Salah won that they didn't even bother.

in my opinion, the reason why some judges are against salah is because this is a popping battle but yet Salah does too many of his tricks that are indeed very eye candy but are not related to popping. these judges are on the lookout to see who is a better popper, not someone with just moves
i wish the camera angles would be closer.... salah always makes cool expressions anyways lol

@somarago No, more specifically it's the contrary. You don't want or will hit every beat unless it's beginners practice. What you're describing is simply a ticking battle. There are plenty of things to do in popping where you should not hit anything. Waving, strobing, lots of animation techniques, smooth rolls, crazy legs. You make it sound as if people should get disqualified if they only pop their legs on a certain beat, then their chest and then their arms. No, people shot not hit everything.
Check out when Salah throws his cap at 2:48, and where it lands, some guy in the audience throws up his hand and it looks like he catches it, even though he's not even near it.

Nelson is full of originality, although that he lacks technics in deep. Salah is the same except his technics and his creativity which are his arms.
I think jurys has more liked nelson for this touch of originality.

@skills1ent he's nice at what he does, but I def couldn't say the best in the WORLD...to be the best I think you'd have to do ALL STYLES, and EXTREMELY well. Meaning popping, locking, freestyle, Choreography, breakin, all that. P only flexes.
