"Rock the baby to sleep" routine. Salah does that tired move every friggin time. Salah is more charismatic, but Greenteck is the much better popper. No doubt.

@Jasnpl I went back and looked at this. I wanted to say I was wrong if I was but, I see 2 judges( it's hard to see bad footage) saying Salah and Pete saying Tie. AM I correct on this. Either way you have to understand that this is not like real battling was back in the day. Rounds, judges, crowds having to be polled for their answer. Kinda strange. Not a real street battle for a real street dance.

I just watched the final and Salah definitely should have won. The crowd were way more into him than Nelson, and although you could say Nelson stuck to popping and did it technically well as far as the rulebook goes, Salah was just way more fun and inventive, and like this battle treated it as a battle rather than an exhibition (I think Green loses this in round 2 because he almost forgets Salah is there till he's reminded).

Its just a thing about respect, when a dancer is doing their thing, you sit still... don't be trying to hit your routines or take the force out of someones crowd pleaser by imitating it.... I am a dancer and I hate when i'm battling someone and they are jumping around, and trying to dance at the same time im dancing.... That usually means they are worried...

I think i will agree with the aforementioned lower, but with less slang to it. Green clearly won the battle, but it seems that the judges were blinded by the name and the person that is 'Salah' nowadays, the name seems to have become a bit too known through the popping/locking world with not that much brilliance to it. The man can dance, i'll give him that, he's great, but when you get outmatched once in a while that's that. Give credit where credit is due people, stop living in shallow meadow.
green should have more respect for salah... but I also think green went a lil eazy... if he would have did a whole round with some groundwork he would have took that... salah is world famous, so its obvious everyone knows some of the moves hes coming with... but they still are all still beastly even now ....

Salah won based on the fact that he battled and put on a showcase of his moves. Respectively. Green did a great job and represented himself amazingly, no doubt. There is another video on TH-cam that shows a full stage shot. If you watch it, you will see why the judges ruled in favor of Salah. Because he battled. I watched this video enough times to get myself familiar with Greens style. I found that Salah performed better than him. Don't get me wrong, both are amazing to me. Just my opinion

Take away all the hat tricks, crowd pleasers etc and base it strictly on poppin' and the dance. . . . and see what happens then.
