The top 1% is over 80 million people that's a lot of the USA in there. The top 5% is 406 million people. The people who are powerless and get the worst punishment are the billions in central and south America, Africa, the middle east, South and South east Asia and the poorest in China.
My complaint with this is the implication that most (or all) of humanity chose to be stupid. 95% of people are effectively powerless to make those kinds of changes. There are two examples of why I say this: First, I heard somewhere that if the US and EU perfectly implemented every single climate policy that the climate catastrophe cult wanted, it would only slow the alleged collapse (assuming it is real) by a few decades because China and India's current pollution rates are so high that they could do it all with just the two of the, regardless of the actions of the rest of the world. Second, people in the US vote in politicians, and those politicians ignore what the people want and only do maybe 10% of what they committed to in their campaigns. Most of what said politicians ACTUALLY do from a policy perspective is pandering to the corporate lobbyist donors. They don't give a s**t about what their constituents want.
Show name is Love, Death & Robots Most episodes quite unrelated and they even change artstyle every episode but many episodes even better than this one. These three guys have 2-3 episodes in total iirc.

Pride is the worse. As pride justify any crime. Where greed is merely hoarding wealth. In context of this movie. It was pride that drove them too do this. Due to having consulting jobs around the world, ive found that hatred is an easier and more hot motivator to get people to do what you want (en masse) than anything else. For example: people hate sweatshops. Corporations want a lack of competition as they financially invade other countries. So they use the sympathetic western public as their main weapon. They make their industry look unreliable towards human rights, so people say there needs to be more laws and regulations and accountability. Then the companies themselves write the new rules and what small part of it the public actually pays attention to looks good because it looks strict, so they back it. In the end, corporate colonialism gets all the fortification it needs. If you run a business in Vietnam. By far you dont want chinese or Vietnamese or Japanese business men starting their own manufacturing or businesses. So you use the people's will to chosoe your "regulated" brand to narrow the market. You use the new laws to prevent people of the country from coming into control themselves. Basically take the 1500s-1600s and just metaphorize it in the financial sphere and its roughly the same. So if the real 0.01% wants us to hate them, then you can bet its not even 4D chess. Its not 3D chess. Its not even chess at all. Its an elementary school tic-tac-toe oversight nobody is willing to see. They will easily gain from what they do. How is the big question, but it wont be too complicated.

My complaint with this is the implication that most (or all) of humanity chose to be stupid. 95% of people are effectively powerless to make those kinds of changes.
There are two examples of why I say this:
First, I heard somewhere that if the US and EU perfectly implemented every single climate policy that the climate catastrophe cult wanted, it would only slow the alleged collapse (assuming it is real) by a few decades because China and India's current pollution rates are so high that they could do it all with just the two of the, regardless of the actions of the rest of the world.

All I’m saying is Netflix and anyone who you think is famous isn’t really a part of the 0.01%. They don’t make enough money.
