I have one also. I have in the beginning experience my bearing malfunction at the armature on the left side of the press. What was happening was a hole in the press where the old primer drops into the plastic tub leaving the press. Some times a used primer would get out of the hole and drop onto the bearing causing it to get crushed. All I did was cover the hole with a piece of metal tape. I've never had a problem since

I've been reloading with my X10 for a couple of weeks now. I have noticed with the primer pick up tube, that if you stir the primers around with it to separate them it makes picking them up much better @ quicker. I also wanted to mention that it looks "maybe" your tool head was flexing a little bit @ around the 20 minute mark. I noticed that mine came loose after a few hundred rounds of 9mm's so I had put a wrench to it. Other than that a great press & I have been super happy with it so far!!! Great Video...

Dillon makes thinner walled primer tube tips. I've never been a fan of the metal tips. Something about mashing metal against explosive primers just feels wrong. Thanks for a great video series! I've learned a lot.

Based on your comments I purchased it this week and it arrived today and assembled everything following your recommendations and instructions. I have some RCBS, Lee and Redding gear. This is a whole new level! Also maybe I got lucky but my primer pickup tube seems to operate as well as other brands. God bless you all.
Very interesting , with a lot of stations to add different operations. I guess its the new wave of technology. The ability to mass produce a lot of rounds in a short amount of time this press looks like it can do that and some. Powder and caliber change over look like a major concerns , with a lot of die adjustments. I'll stick to my 550 , not because it cheaper , cause it's not. All the tool heads with caliber conversions for each different caliber with powder dispenser. Faster yes. Good video series just the same.
Sometimes use antique balance beam[ matches my antique progressive for box or two.] I've started hoarding my ammo. Dont want any more rebarrel jobs.😅hes really a tight wad

When setting up the military crimp swager die are you running 7x62x51 cases along with your 308`s and are you using the same powder charge for all of your cases. It makes no difference. Trimming and cleaning are separate processes that may be performed in any order. Trim only when cases exceed the specified length. Cleaning is entirely cosmetic and has no effect on performance.
Thanks for another great video. Could you maybe move the Peters metal sign. Nothing against it because I have the same metal sign on my reloading room wall, but the press parts are getting lost in background of the dark sign.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I won't be redoing this same video. The only part of the entire press involving the sign was the powder hopper and perhaps the primer tube, and there's quite a lot of visual contrast to those parts that are entirely static.
do you gauge your round when setting up the sizer die? i was wondering if you had to lower the sizing die down more than "contact the shell plate". as the instructions say. thank you,. glad to see some one else using this for a larger caliber other than pistol.. thanks again

Mine was junk !!
200 cases of.223 doesn't seem a lot when dillon case feeder can take more then two times of that. And in this press 200 cases are loaded pretty quickly
I'm a rifleman. I do not spray. I demonstrated the superb accuracy of this load with the M1A in a prior video. Overall length of ammo for service rifles should generally be magazine length, but at least seated one caliber depth.
I prefer to deprime_ prime seperatly ..wiuld there be a issue in bypassi g those Stations ? Just 2 pulls then onto powder fill.i always have a rcbs powder check die in after the fill station. Presumably it still would lock that press too if faulty fill was Present
What you prefer is certainly not necessary for accuracy or any other reason. This machine is designed to accomplish the multiple stages of reloading. The shell plate rotates ten positions, regardless of the number of active stations. It's contradictory to engineer an inconvenience to that convenience.

That is specific for dillon 550 and 650/750. Not ie on Dillon 1100 or this one. Priming rod is fixed and set to specific depth you want and the primer is inserted when the toolhead is at the bottom as it press downs the shell plate against the priming and swaging rods. Same principle as on dillon 1100.
No, and I didn't give my load either. The reasons are quite simple. Neither number necessarily has anything to do with another rifle. This video was about loading ammo with the X-10, not creating loads with it. Service rifles such as the M1A or AR-15 employ an overall cartridge length that fits the magazine, and which is shorter than the chamber throat, all of which must provide a minimum seating depth--exclusive of the boat tail or ogive--of one caliber. These measurements are derived from any stock loading table for any commercial bullet. That's the length you use.

I’m in Ct. and boy has it been raining, then goes up to you. The good thing is our lawn looks great, usually dead when September comes around.

Gun blue are these for spraying and praying ? Or are you gonna range test for grouping? And I was very interested in length over all.
