Jon+Pertwee=legend! Remember seeing this on original transmission - still very funny. Jon was and still is my Doctor, and the biggest event in my life was meeting him in 1995. A very warm and friendly gentleman. Thanks for sharing!
just think , without Jon de Perthuis de Laillevaul, no one would ever have reversed the polarity of the neutron flow :) a great gentleman of the old school, imo, none of his successors have come close, but then as mentioned he was MY doctor and I'm biased :D
Yes, that's right - I went to see the play in Wimbledon shortly after this and I'm sure it was around Easter time or the when clocks changed. Definitely 1989.
@tomspy77 No problem. Thanks for posting this. I remember watching it at the time but it was on an old and small black & white portable telly with a very grainy picture and didn't actually realise he was wearing a red nose!
Wow! I met Mister Pertwee just a year earlier than this interview.
Wonderful gentleman he was!
When the actor is just so willing and enjoying themselves, these things aren't as cringeworthy for them as they usually are, RIP Mr Pert
Jon Pertwee is a legend and sadly missed. Dr Who and Worzel Gummidge were great.
Even to this day Jon Pertwee is still my favourite Doctor.
i miss you jon pertwee
"I'm the Comic Relief Doctor!"
"Where d'you think you're going, ya bleeding git?!"

Not only a great actor, but a good comedian. What a wonderful man.
Exactly and so sadly missed great talent, ment him at various conventions and other events over the years
RIP Jon Pertwee and Terry Wogan
My favourite Doctor.
A wonderful man Mr Pertwee! RIP!!
He was brilliant as the Doctor. And such a funny man!
Jon Pertwee is truly fantastic.
a classic
RIP John! You are a tv star
Terry wogan is right at the end, if you change the hair a bit, Jon Pertwee still looks exactly like he did in Spearhead from Space.
Another hero of mine.x
Wonderful chap. I had the honour of meeting him when I was a child and he had a lick of my ice-cream.
Pure class
"Would you like to play Doctor Who?"
"Yes, but how should I play it?"
"Well, it's Jon Pertwee".
"Who the hell is that?"
Jon Pertwee what a trooper!!
hard to believe he was one of the choices to play henry jones in last crusade before sean got the part

70! He sure doesnt look it!
Pertwee didn't die
He just regenerated into Tom Baker
reminds me of my grandfather
Somehow, Pertwee manages to look exactly the same every time I see him.

@outofthegreenmist Thanks...
1:05 he sounds exactly like his son
Why was Jon never asked to be a voice in a Disney cartoon?!
I wonder what Jon Pertwee's Doctor and Worzel Gummidge would say if they had a conversation.
he sounds more like worzel gummidge in this than the doctor
Put many 40-year-olds to shame.
@guidobuxlee Thanks...
