In Canada, 'Life In Prison' , is actually 25 years with eligibility for parole. Sometimes they're out in under a dozen years, only to do it all over again.
I know. It's ridiculous. He had a parole hearing after serving only 15 years. Luckily he was denied and his next one isn't until 2028. Imagine, a life sentence but eligible for parole after 15. Why not just say 15, and we'll see. It's not life.

Am i the only one who noticed the problem with the re enactment of the bullet going through the roof in Colorado? In the original shooting the bullet was going up, through the ceiling (ie against gravity.) In the re enactment its all Horizontal. You can't tell me that doesn’t make a difference in how far the bullet travels.
That's a good point. It might just be the re enactment isn't 100% accurate, but also maybe how much gravity matters might depend on the speed of the bullet/how far it's traveled since being shot? Pretty interesting either way.
The speed and distance of the bullet actually is all about the grain (weight of the lead) and the amount of powder. But I do agree they weren't both accurate.

John Robinson...still living as of Nov 15, 2023-These people get to live longer than the ones they murder. The longer I live the more it appears the laws are designed for the criminal rather than the victims! I understand how too many people went to prison that were innocent but adjusting the law to prevent this has gotten out of hand. Also, remember the "Judges" have control over all of this and they are not god, they have strengths and weaknesses and are human just like the rest of us, along with making wrong decisions.

The Kansas local PD and KBI knew weeks before they figured out there were bodies in barrels that there were bodies in barrels my company was installing fiber optic phone cable and while digging around rural water and underground electric we could smell dead bodies and seeing barrels in the woods with duct tape around the tops we called every PD but the FBI and kept going on our way finished the job and moved to the next job from then on we mind our own business and unless we dig a body up crossing public utilities or see in plain sight a body we won't call PD no matter what city or state

Most of crime stores videos are dramatized; why don’t they take videos when actually happening such as the dead or skeleton found, the items or evidences found, the autopsy, etc.. and insert them into the video and mark.. police file…. Or.. actual photos… that will minimize their shooting and video making expenses yet make the stories and videos more fun or more entertaining and more credible.
