Thanks for posting this! These two tunes should NEVER be separate! EVER! Maiden is my fave metal band. Just got done listening to Black Sabbath "Sabotage" album, and Judas Priest "Sad Wings of Destiny". Both of those albums are brilliant masterpieces!
Dude, you also like 3 of my favorite bands. Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Iron Maiden (specially with Paul Di'anno). My other favorite bands are UFO, Thin Lizzy, Motorhead, and Saxon. This Iron Maiden record and their 2nd. record are my favorite Iron Maiden albums which I played till my ears blead 40 years ago. And just like you said, these two great songs should never be separated. They belong together for eternity.
Also the first 2 maiden albums together with Vol.4 and masters of reality by Sabbath are also masterpieces!!!

Some fool a few days ago said Strange World sounded like Nothing Else Matters. This came out in 1980 so if they sound alike, Nothing Else Matters sounds like Strange World
They actually do sound alike, but this sounds more like welcome home (sanitarium)
@@figu6ka379 With all due respect: None of Metallica's songs sound like Maiden's. NONE WHATSOEVER! Maiden is Maiden. A very unique and very talented band. Don't get me wrong. I like Metallica, since 1983. But, Iron Maiden has a very heavy melodic sound. They are on a whole other level. ONE OF A KIND. Thank you for your time.

Indeed...start off with a blistering heavy metal track (for those days, at least), then ease into a Blue Oyster Cult type melody that doesn't seem like a sell-out. Rock on! Iron Maiden has been an incredible influence on the metal community since their first album! Here's hoping they keep it up!

I've been trying to expose myself to more Maiden recently. It would take too long to rattle off what I do know. I checked out Transylvania several months ago. Had no idea this existed. I do now. Whoever you are that put these together, thank you!
Iron Maiden always gives me a certain atmosphere nobody else can. It is impossible to explain, but I think most people who have listened to Maiden alot too know what I mean

This song just doesn't have the same impact when I hear it starting on its own without the outro of Transylvania coming before
Iron Maiden, why did you changed?? why did you let go of one of my favorite vocalist ever... the great Paul Di'anno. Why did you changed your style?? Your first albums (with P. Di'anno) were like Heavy Metal with Punk music influence and that made the band sound and style unique. I wish that Iron Maiden did a tour with P. Di'anno.
