When I was a little boy I came to visit the Brooklyn Bridge with family for the first time and I never walk across the bridge in years. I do hopefully to come visit the Brooklyn Bridge this upcoming Summer to take pictures. It’s a great time to go there because temperatures wouldn’t be too cold and brisky as you are walking or standing at the bridge. The best time of the day to come is at night time to watch the city lights and the beautiful views. 🗽🌃🌉📸

Great video Hannah. The Brooklyn Bridge is amazing. I actually went hypo (I'm diabetic) about 2/3 of the way over. I had hypo treatment with me, but it put a downer on our walk. We got wedding photos taken on the bridge on our wedding day on another trip though, which was fantastic. I love the way you explained how to get on the bridge from both sides. We struggled to find the entrance from the Manhattan side in 2008! 🤭

Usually if I'm close by in the area right near it for a film or TV shoot in Brooklyn, I'll walk across it. So beautiful especially when you're getting towards the Manhattan side especially at night.
Great video, Hannah! What’s not to love about the magnificent Brooklyn Bridge? Maybe you could do more bridges as part of a series. Being a film buff, I always associate NY’s bridges with movies they were in, such as the famous shot of the majestic Queensboro Bridge in “Manhattan” with Woody Allen’s famous line about what a knockout New York City is. Then there’s the Manhattan Bridge, which has that narrow and claustrophobic walkway with the giant fence that figures in a key scene from “Blue Valentine,” in which the young couple experience turmoil, and the detail of the bridge seems to provide a neat visual analogue of their emotions of feeling trapped and uncertain in their relationship. Btw, thumbs up for Ross’s cameo, although anyone with a beard that cool should be allowed to take a selfie in the middle! 👍😂
Yeah, the Brooklyn Bridge is definitely the icon of them all as you mentioned. But I love how each are distinguished by one thing or another. Like the Manhattan, with that great photo op in Dumbo (that you also pointed out); and the Queensboro, with it’s interesting architecture and the way it looms over Roosevelt Island; and the cool views of the Williamsburg from Domino Park.
Yes, I think they’re all great too. I’d totally watch a video on the others personally. I really love walking the Manhattan Bridge. That view is incredible!
