Vanessa, I usually prefer to eat in 'cause I do cook pretty well by myself although I'm divorced now. But I like to eat out, go to cafe or a restaurant from time to time. In general, it happens if I've got someone who I would've taken out to a lunch/a dinner.
oh I could totally relate to that. Do people aiways talk that fast? I would definitey shut my mouth if the lady on the phone opens the conversation like that lolll
I enjoyed learning about how to order restaurant food on the phone which has been a little challenging for me but I should face those challenges or certain difficulties to have a better understanding of English and also to polish my language skills further. I want to move to the United States to trying out its delicious foodstuffs. You mean the world to me, Vanessa, because I have enjoyed keeping learning English thanks to you ❤.

Hi Vanessa, as an English student I'd like to say thank you, firstly because you seem to be so empathetic and approachable person and secondly because your explanation is very clear. Before watching your video many things were an enigma for me like the use of that's all and that's it but you has been able to decipher the enigma... So thanks a lot .
Nowadays, Vanessa is doing more videos about everyday vocabulary. It's extremely useful for English learners. Hope you had a delicious meal.☺️ Thanks for this lesson. Please come up with more such interesting videos. In my country, pick up is not that common. People mostly make orders for home delivery.

Personally thinking, this is the most practical way of teaching English!!. I wish we had this kind 20 years ago....real English with real people under real circumstances that we face everyday.
Here in Iran, you can order food on the phone or online for delivery, even from small restaurants. They use motorcycles for delivering the foods very quickly. Actually it is surprising for me that having delivery services is not common in the US!
I eat out almost daily. I’m a new subscriber and I accidentally found this amazing channel. It’s very helpful to improve my English. A million thanks 🙏.
Hi Vanessa, this is really a awesome video about ordering food, specially in our days. Thanks a lot for the entire script. You make my mind to order more often. Thanks a lot.
First, thanks for making orders in English on the phone, regarding your question whether l make pick up orders or delivery orders when I'm hungry neither of them. I like preparing my food by myself. 🌹
Great video! One interesting thing about credit card paying in Brazil is that we never let people take the card out of our sight. The waitress will always bring you the credit card machine for you to see the financial transaction being made!
It’s like a soccer players, they sound if they’re playing easily and everyone can do play the same as they do but it’s not. Ordering from restaurant on a phone is not easy, even for me in my native language, so take a deep breath and prepare ur self before you step 🤣😂🤝🤝
Great video! This seems to be exactly what we expect from such lessons. Such a scheme: a video example, then an explanation from Vanessa, then again a video example, then again an explanation - very convenient and interesting. Vanessa, we are waiting for new interesting videos in a new format! If it is difficult to shoot reports on the street, you can always ask Den - I think he will not refuse to play the role of a restaurant employee, or an employee of a bank, post office, store, or whatever you need :) You can just act out the scenes at home - just make some small decorations - and it will be OK ... Well done! We are waiting for new videos in new formats. Just don't forget to enable auto-subtitles.
