Again, nice results. Going the extra mile by doing the facebow transfer. Awesome. BTW, I always use a rubber band to hold the two cast together (with the bite registration between the teeth) when mounting the second cast. The rubber band prevents the models from shifting while you add the stone to the articulator. Your videos are good education to all dentists.

I will never understand a patient requiring crowns on perfectly healthy teeth with little to no fillings and even less a dentist who agrees to it and pulls through with it. As a reasonable dentist you should discourage people from such procedures as long as there are no gaps to close or no teeth with big fillings. You shouldn't be doing crowns just because of aesthetic reasons.
Even tho crowns do get us alot of money, I have always discouraged every patient asking for aesthetic reason to not go for it and they have always listened to me as a reasonable dentist.
Considering you’re a dental student I’m disappointed. He’s simply removing old crowns for new better ones. No tooth structure is being compromised here. Just a replacement procedure…
You have not watched and read thoroughly. The patient had old plastic crowns. But , I do agree with preserving good and healthy teeth over uniform crowns for esthetic reasons.

Good morning po Dok, last friday nakabitan po ang anak ko ng brace pero itaas lng po gawa ng may space po sa gitna suggest ng doktora na nagkabit pwede naman daw ang itaas nalng ang lagyan dahil ayos naman daw po ang ipin nya sa ibaba.. Maganda at malinis naman daw po. Pero sa xray po sa upper at lower nya mag kabila ay may wisdom teeth, tanung ko lng po kung di po ba mag sisigalawan ang ipen sa ibaba kung ang itaas lng po ang naka brace... Saka mag second opinion po ako pwede po ba after ng brace nlng po ipatanggal ang wisdom teeth kung wala panaman pain na nararamdam ang anak kung 16 yrs old po. Tunay na ngipin ba yung binawasan doc? Maganda naman sana ngipin ni patient. Hindi ba makafeel ng sensitivity kapag dental crown or veeners na?

How does a tooth die? I only know it turns black from cavity, why did it turn brown when it looks normal to me.?
Not a dentist but a huge nerd with teeth lol, if the whole tooth is turning brown you might have decay that spread to the pulp and is causing the root to die which can show up as discoloration. A root canal is possible as treatment if this is the case. Cavities can hide pretty well before they start to cause damage. I would go see a dentist soon just to be sure

What i suggest change your pattern after death mark cutting, change your bur to red or yellow so that you wont end up doing more and more preparation ...
Because this is seriously over preparation of anterior teeth .... and you always end up doing J margins... try not to dop your but to the full length ... you only and only need .9 mm of chamfer....
Improve your practice this is not the ideal work or else its up to you ...
Thank you for your advice but this is not for ceramic crown.. this is for porcelain fused to metal.. which requires shoulder not chamfer finishline..but will follow your tips ifever I do my ceramic crowns..
