Hello Tim, I faced this same situation in my past marriage where my exwife did not want the children anymore so I took custody of all 4 of them, the oldest daughter who is 21 is about to Graduate from the University with the other 3 right behind her, I tried to get them to have an online relatioship with their mother but she still refuses, We all went to family counseling sessions because of this seperation so that they could heal properly as young adults, I am 65 years old as well and would never get married again but only have friendship relationships.
I congradulate you for stepping up to be both a mother and a father to your children Tim.
She firstly wants money for the girl then the mom or children siblings relatives friends or any one who knows your with her.

I found my own beautiful Filipina 6 years ago.
We have an agegap of 37 years and we just had our first baby boy 3 months ago.
It can work but a girl 18 years old are very different minded than a grown man in his fifties or sixties.

Never met a woman who judged me because of my age and all the women I've met and been with have accepted me, and money has not been an influence, luckily so far. If you meet the 'right' woman then age should be only a number. Gerontophobia is not a huge issue here.

Everything just depends. If you asked me at 40 years old man from USA I would have said 25 min age for Filipino. But my wife was 3 days shy of her 21st birthday when we got married. So she was 20 years old. So yes they say 24 years old or only Filipinos but they don't know what they would do if the opportunity came up.
Most non-Western cultures do not have any issues with the man being older, or even a lot older. The Islamic cultures are no different. If the man can provide a comfortable life, generally there is no issue. The West is simply quite hypocritical about the topic. Young Western females run after high value Western men who are old enough to be their grandfathers and will also willingly "share" these men. Why? Money and resources.

I think it has to do with the attitude of the guy and if he shows respect and consideration of the girl and of her family.

I'm 39 and my Filipina girlfriend is 21. She's an amazing person in every way. Her family don't approve of our relationship though. :\ But she's an adult so it doesn't things. Hopefully they'll give me a chance later and realise I'm not a creepy guy just looking for someone young to take advantage of. I just want to help her however I can. I love her deeply. I didn't choose her for her age, but for who she is.

I am 65 and have had four (that's right, 4) marriages and four children if you count everyone completely: during all this nonsense one of my co-workers suggested I just quit marrying.
That would make me like Origen, the famous Christian "heretic", who castrated himself to become more Christlike. Well, I was Christian then, but no longer. I will leave my current wife (first time I have left one), move back to Southern FL, the most beautiful part of USA, and live with a healthy young (30-60yrs) yogi.

You are not old so long as you have the cash to offset your age gap. Even 30 will not cut it if you are poor like a goddamn church mouse

Women all over the world are looking not only for love but also for stability in a relationship. Many of these women have had Filipino boyfriends and have seen the life they have to offer and know that there is more out there not only for them but their children as well. They have siblings or friends who have been in a relationship with foreign men and are happy. Age is a number, but I personally think 20 years difference in age is the maximum to not be weird or considered a monetary exchange and not a real relationship like a sugar daddy.

I agree. You have to ask the older man...why are you picking a woman 30 to 40 years younger than you and we all know the answer is youth and beauty. You want these things from her and this is the reason you did not go searching for 55 to 65. So why older men get offended when the young woman also wants something from you...stability...financial freedom. Its common sense. You both want something from each other. And when the relationship leans to much towards these desires....its a hard relationship to maintain.

I don't understand why 3rd party people are worried about the age of others. When I see a couple old man young lady. I just smile while others have to condemn them or her. People should find their own happiness. 35 years ago when I was 20 years old I knew this 85 year old man. He didnt have much money. I knew his financials. But he was dating women in their late 20s and early 30s. People was talking trying to find out what was going on. This was before viagra. His nickname was Nutten. I asked him. Nutten aren't you afraid you will not be able to keep with these young ladies? He told no what I can't handle with my hip, I can handle with my..... man probely died a happy man😂😂😂😂

I'm 60, just come back from a 3 week holiday in the Philipinnes. I love the country, the people are so friendly. I am hoping to go back next year, for a much longer stay. I'm not going looking for a girlfriend or wife, but if i was, I wouldn't be looking at someone in their 20's. I think it's too big of an age gap. But if it works for other people, and they're happy, then go for it.

Age is only a number. However, a 65 year old man needs to consider the desire of many 20 something’s to have children if she has none already. If you’re not a willing and able partner don’t be selfish.

It seems like a girl's willingness to date a foreigner is directly proportional to her comfort level in speaking English. Then if they date a foreigner (who lives locally), the odds are it's going to be an older one. If a girl says 35 is her upper limit and she would date a foreigner, she would date a 55 year old guy who is fit and decent looking. Just tell her you are 39 she won't care.

I am a youthful 62 and and most people think I'm late 40s, early 50s. I would never consider dating girls this young anyway. I would feel like an old fool. I would however consider dating someone mid-thirties to early fifties depending on attraction if I ever made it to the Philippines.
