I kinda wish that was the true finale to King Mondo instead, not that unrealistic approach. Maybe if all the Rangers had been present in their zords and Jason actually was shown with the other cast-mates w/o their head gear on, would have been interesting to show a fierce final battle with Lord Z, Mondo & Rita. To an extent.
Always loved this huge thing as a kid. Still have most of it stored away back home, though somehow one of the arms ended up getting lost (and of course the softer plastic "point" of the pyramid is long gone, I imagine that's a frequently lost part.)
Damn I hate to be that guy. There's a few things you missed. I only remember these things cuz he was my favorite "ultrazord" as a kid. 1. The pyramid tip doesn't have to come off for the bird perch 2. The flip top that reveals the red square clicks into place as to not flop around. 3. You forgot to rotate the hands around. Other than those 3 things. Great review.
fun fact this is the biggest single power ranger zord they have ever created( except for maybe the new lion zord from ninja steel i haven't seen that side by side, but that thing is pretty massive too. it isnt the biggest sentai zord though, which kinda blows my mind XD I think that's magma base max magma from Gattai Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman, it can fit 2 combined zords in it XD
This looks better(and a bit more screen accurate) with a grunge wash and/or proper gold paint over the yellow. And on the pyramid cap, you could likely get a 3d printed replacement to fit.
When i first saw this on netflix and when i saw LASER COMMING OUT OF THE BODY GOT ME SCARED AND LAUGHING AND IT WAS A HUGE HUGE ZORD ONE OF THE BIGGEST ZORDS I KNOW
Guys remember in the show it's an actor in a suit that's why they don't look show accurate. They got better when green screens happened and CGI got better
It sure is a solid Megazord, alright, although I agree seeing this compared to the Lion Fortress Megazord shows the difference in detail Bandai had in the past, that even a so called brick will look very interesting with the embossing.
Got mine this week in very good used condition. It´s a hugh brick , but it is Show acurate even the dimension of the head in relation to the body. And the plastic they used for production feels much better and solid compared to „modern“ action figures.
One of the 3 "Giant Ultrazords" for me. The second is the Delta Command Megazord from S. P. D. and the third is the Lion Fortress Zord from Ninja Steel.

The thing I remember most about Pyramidas is how giant it was. For a young child, it seemed ridiculous.

I like how the bigger zords are usually the most boring ones and most hold the other zords
i HATED this Megazord in the 90s, but it has grown on me, in a clunky 1950s robot sort of way.

The Zeo Ultrazord is honestly the worst Ultrazord. Fine for a Sixth Ranger's zord, just down right awful for an Ultrazord.

The megazord mode looks hideous. The head is WAY too small, it’s legs are too small and the torso is way too big for the arms.
