PRO R 4 all day ...just got a new '25. Better storage, better ride position (imo), better features for your buck, and canam has got to figure out something with the length. May seem trivial for its best intended dune-use but if you ride multiple types of trails out in the mountain west and you do multiple activities. (i.e. Dirt Bike, MtB, Kids stuff, etc) every inch counts in truck and trailer when trying to camp and maneuver and you don't want a 100' long rig. Plenty of cons as well but Polaris has this one for now
I have an X3 Max TRR already and it is so big in the woods and can be pretty rough dragging over rocks and hills with that long wheelbase. In the dunes however, it's a whole different story. My suggestion is figure out where you are going to ride mostly and choose accordingly. If it's tight trails then the new Yamaha or CF Moto might be a better choice IMHO.
What are you talking about when you say the pro r isnt up to the maverick standards the pro r live valve is better, the pro r has ride command and the pro r has speakers which the mav r doesnt. The fit and finish on the pro r is miles ahead of can am. I could literally go down a list and the pro r is better in every category even stock seats, brakes, wheels and tires, motor on the pro r is way better. The pro r even looks better i remember when the mav r spy shots came out people thought it was a joke. The only place the mav r shines is the dunes. Lets not forget the mav r bucks in the rear like all mavericks do. I could literally go on alday. Put the pipe down.
What happens when you dump a turbo in the pro r, id say canned ham will get slapped? Maybe? But the differences in drive chain makes me head scratch. Id still take the base pro R 4 with the idea of installing a turbo on it in the future.
Well,,the Cand Ham is more of a sand car ,, lots of horse power, travel,,WIDE ,,, so for more of a versatile vehicle it would be the Pro R4 ,,, but that’s why I drive a Talon ,Turbo at that
This is what sxs blog should have gotten back too. Love the channel guys. Keep it up.

I'm taking the Pro R4. It's already too big in certain scenarios. The mav R max is ridiculous
Friendly reminder that Can Am has won King of the Hammers the last 5 years in a row, which requires a combination of reliability and performance
