    My understanding is Innovative Pedal actually use brake in some instance where regen level 5 will not.

    Thanks for making videos so I can pretend to drive the car while I wait for my GT order number to come up. 🙂
    I'm still not clear on what the dial on the left side of the screen is showing. As you started filming with the engine on it was only reading about one increment. Once the engine was warm and started charging it went up to about nine out of ten. The label says x10 kW so is it engine power rated in kW instead of RPM? I don't have access to the owners manual so I can't research anything about the car. Could you also show the service intervals sometime? Just wondering how it compares to the previous North American PHEV service requirements.

    Thanks for the videos. I've read that there are no trailer hitches currently available for the PHEV. Would you know if a 1-1/4 inch receiver hitch is coming out.

    Cam you do a quick video explain the tire pressure screen? There 6 numbers, one for each tire, and one on each axle. Not sure what the axle values represent.

    Had put in an advance for the two tone 2023 Phev GT in April. I am currently in Toronto. Do you know if Mitsubishi already started delivering the vehicles?

    What is the difference between e-pedal and B-mode on gear shift?

    • @mr.mitsubishi
      @mr.mitsubishi  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      With B mode you can adjust how strong the brakes will feel. With e padal you can’t

    Did you explain the paddles on either side of the steering wheel?

    I could not find any information in the owners manual explaining what this button does. The explanation in this video is NOT exactly what the button does. When you are using the paddles on the steering wheel and have it in b5 (max regen) mode, when you let off the gas, the regen slows down the vehicle and the brake lights activate to warn cars behind you that you are braking/slowing. The actual brake pedal does not physically move and you must use the brake pedal to actually bring the car to a stop.
    But when you have this weird button turned on, the regen effect feels much stronger but it also PHYSICALLY pulls down the brake pedal HARD. I mean a few inches of travel on the brake pedal level of hard. In otherwords, much of the 'regen' braking effect is actually you burning out your brake pads to slow the vehicle while you think it is the regen motor doing it.
    I drive the same route repeatedly, and on b5 (paddles), I get a reported +1 km extra from regen when I park each way. When I use the stupid button mode, it gives me 0 km extra!
    I think this button is actually designed to 'auto brake' you if you are descending steep mountain roads or something. This mode will burn out your brakes in no time and seems to have no practical purpose other than sending you back to the dealer early for new brakes.

    Hi what's the MSRP for a fully loaded model? Regular not PHEV

  • @baldheadlogic
    @baldheadlogic ปีที่แล้ว

    I have a question. Does the Outlander PHEV not have regen braking unless you have the innovative pedal selected? I ask because I am use to a regular hybrid that normally does not use the physical pads and rotors in routine braking.

      @mr.mitsubishi  ปีที่แล้ว

      By default it's set to a mild regenerative braking (B2). So you have it a little bit either way.

    Hi,
    Is there any way to save the configuration to use EV and Eco mode when i turn on the vehicle?

      Unfortunately no.. you have to click it manually every time

    IMO, Mitsubishi should hire you to record videos for the cars. The current Mitsubishi videos are outdated and few in number.

    If I make a little criticism, I wonder why these two buttons are so small, close together and ugly. There is enough space next to the shifter to put buttons that are more ergonomic and better integrated into the design.

    3rd row is useless. It should be removed or redesigned to have it slide back more (have to sacrify cargo room). It is not make sense to carry 3rd row around for nothing but burn more gas or electric)
    Seem like someone just "check the box" ...it has 3rd row seat...

    • @mr.mitsubishi
      @mr.mitsubishi  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's small, for sure. It's one of those just in case things..

      Perfect for someone who uses it mainly for commuting, but needs the extra row for when their Explorer is in the shop for servicing.. repeatedly.
