The lesson learned is that animé characters are the most athletic, most energetic, most inefficient fighters ever.
Oh, and also this dude is Goku.
In seriousness, what's most striking in comparison to me is how in most cases the animé characters descend faster than the speed of gravity. The combat scenes would actually be much slower if that were made realistic.
