- Lots of clips:
Inky Pinky and Eiffel swap dummies so Maggie is confused as to who is whom. Maggie and I have a sookie full of hungry batties.
Piccalilli: Maggie gets her reputation as a pee magnet for good reason.
Roses of Picardy tells me about her really really bad day.
Dowling does juice face.
Hungry Hippo has her bottle.
Cutie Patootie wakes up and shows her adorable little face.
Hufflepuff had such a pale slivery belly.
Beetidubs gets stuck into the watermelon and Winnie Windsong eyes the fruit bowl with the view to having a yoghurt facial.
Beetidubs and Maggie have some grooming time,.
Loki the wallaby joey takes up residence in my overalls bib.
Licketty Split loved to wipe his beak all over my undies.
Piggy in the Middle hatches.
Princess Fluffy Duck is a day old here.
Babylon sings to Skittles, his dwarf daughter.
Tolga Bat Hospital takes donations for me. Tolga is an awesome place in Far North Queensland, which has charity status. By sending donations to them, they get a percentage (and deserve every cent) and they can allocate money to me for batty expenses without it becoming part of my income stream (which makes tax time difficult).

Mention Megabattie or Meg in the PayPal message box and the money will find its way to me.
If no message box appears, please email Jenny to tell her that the money is for me.
IMPORTANT: If you pay through the PayPal Giving Fund, can you please email Jenny with the AMOUNT DONATED and the name under which you have donated, OR just forward along the PP receipt.
The Giving Fund doesn’t charge any fees (so the bats get more money) but PP doesn’t itemise out the amount, they just send a total every month, and we don’t know if the money is for Tolga or for Megabattie.
Here’s Jenny’s email.

I miss seeing Piccalilli. So much personality in such a cute little package. I hope she's doing well.
Some of the best things come in tiny packages.
That little toothless Piccalilli chirp was so sweet. All those babies ate good while in care. The birds are adorable, and the love song was probably appreciated by the other two even if they seemed unimpressed.
That was Roses of Picardy, but yeah.
Roses of Picardy was the only toothless bubba in this vid I think
Aren’t they just adorable???❤️❤️❤️❤️ 🦇 🦇
I never get tired of seeing those little ears twitch about, it's so funny and adorable.
The squeaks and little nose & ear movements are enough to melt your heart😇❤️🖤🦇🖤❤️
Baby bat faces with grizzled face fur, too cute! Trying to figure out how baby joey Loki got to ride in the front seat.🤔🦘 All the babies look so pliable, good to see them again.
Loki wanted to be in my arms and I was working, so I put him down my front, as you do...
All those loved and remembered babies just stole my heart all over again. Babylon is a rake…comes by his name honestly.piggy and fluffy look so fragile and vulnerable. Nice seeing Arkie in her prime and giving attitude.🖤🇨🇦
These videos are SO SO precious. Such beautiful babies. 💕🦇💕🦇💕🦇
Cuteness overload as always!🦇💞💞💞💞💞🦇
They are pouch babies. 😊 Bats are so adorable and amazing. ❤ I love them so much. 🦇 Also, they sound like taping sticks sometimes. It's amazing the range of noises they make to communicate.
They aren't pouch babies; flying-foxes aren't marsupials; they don't have pouches.
Soothing loveable 🤩🤩🤩💖💖💖💖
Entering you do is so thoughtful…
Cutie Patootie indeed 💖
Thank You so much Meg for a treasure trove of beautiful baby Bats🦇🤗💕 talking, nom-noming & peeing on Maggie!!😍 Also an adorable Joey🦘and ALL your beautiful Birds too!! Cockatiels? I hope Babylon is doing well.🥺💕 Taxi is such a beautiful Parrot girl!♥️🥰
Yes, Babylon and Arkie, my cockatiel pair and some of their chicks. There's a Chick Diary playlist on my channel as well, as I followed the pair through the entire process of deciding to have chicks, playing house, laying eggs and tending them.
@@MegabattieVery awesome! I will look those up over the weekend when I have no work interruptions!! I hope you're doing ok Meg!🥺💕 I'm still scratching my head over 1 comment where they said they miss you, put out more videos?!? REALLY?!? You are putting out videos everyday!!🤨💕
RIP precious Arkie!😓💛
@@tracyjacoby2382 It's probably that YT is not sending her notifications.
Oh the stratches
Dear God they are so beautiful 😊
Oh that Piccallili stretch (and pee) at 1:25 💖💕m and the darling feet emerge and grope around for a hold.
I love it he little black one! ❤️❤️🦇
aah, the little cutie Patootie
I adore baby bats, they are so curious, and they explore all that is around the mi like Arkie' s and Taxi' s colours!!! I am impressed by Taxi' s red!!
Eclectus parrots have red and blue females, and green males with yellow beaks.
The red plumage of females acts as a signal of nest hollow ownership, whereas the green of males allows them to be camouflaged while foraging to feed the females and chicks.
@@Megabattie interesting!!
@@sonialignani Google them; they can decide the sex of their babies as well, if they have a season where one sex would survive better than another. Fascinating.
@@Megabattie it' s magic!!!!
Oh all the baby's is amazing sweet!🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🍼🍈🍉🍇🍌🍑🍐🍏🍎🍑
Precious!
They are all so adorable❤🦇❤🦇❤🦇❤🦇❤🦇❤

🤗❤All 🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Loki is so cute!!! I have a dog named Floki
Good name for a dog
They are just puppies with wings.
Who else wants to reach through the screen to give pets and kisses? 🙋♀️💋🦇❤️
It seems parrots are always scared of new foods 😀
Not Piggy in the Middle; he used to rock up to the new food and go "Food? for ME?" and just get straight into it. Babylon would skirt around it giving the evil side-eye, and look at me as if I was trying to poison him, but as soon as Piggy declared it was awesome, Babylon would run him off and claim the food for himself.
Sometimes I gave them spaghetti or any pasta leftovers (just the pasta not the sauce), and one day I gave him curly spiral pasta because that's what I had leftover.
Babylon looked it it, gave it a wide berth, eyeing it as if it was evil, and look at me with a hurt expression on his face.
B: What is THIS?
M: it's pasta. you like it.
B: it's CURLY and TWISTY
M: it's the same, just a different shape.
B: Are you trying to poison me, slave?
So I went and cooked him some straight spaghetti and put it out for him. He took one look at the straight spaghetti and another look at the offending "curly" spaghetti, then looked me in the eye, and said (I heard him): I'll try the curly stuff now!!!
I know exactly what you mean... lol... Birds can have cooked pasta (of course without sauce)? Didn't know that, I'm going to try and scare mine 😀
You have parrots? What do you have? @@dany.adelfinger
The littlies, I've had budgies all my life. They live at my parents' house now, as with my job and photography I'm lacking the time to care for them as much as I want to. But I visit regularly and we work together.
@@dany.adelfinger All parrots are interactive and funny. They like to eat what you're eating but it's sometimes not good for them.
I discovered they liked spaghetti when Arkie walked across a hot bowl of soup (thinking she was Jesus walking on water), to get to the spaghetti on the other side of the bowl (because the spaghetti under her beak was clearly of inferior quality).
They get spaghetti when I eat it; mostly they play with it and chew a bit then throw it on the ground. I'm fine with that.
They like all sorts of things if they're given the chance to approach it with no pressure.
I give them various greens in an egg cup, standing up and let them choose; bamboo shoots, spinach, chard, asian greens, snow pea sprouts, mills sprouts. If they don't eat it, I give it to the mealworms the next day and give then fresh.
The only thing I've never been able to get them eating is fruit; they just avoid it.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
if i ever win the lottery i would pay Meg, to just be her assistant! i know she works so hard for all the babies, i would love to help.
Win away.
trying! maybe the bats can help me with the right lotto numbers to play@@Megabattie

If you can look into the eyes of one of these little creatures and tell me there isn’t a soul in there… well, I don’t know what to tell you, there’s something wrong with you.
There's definitely an intelligent individual in there, with self awareness and great social intelligence.
@@Megabattie yep… and that’s as good a definition of “soul” as any I can think of. Cheers!
It’s hot everywhere. 104 f in Florida.🇺🇸
Are you ok? Anywhere near the storm?
It's the last day of Winter here, but warm 20ºC, which I find pleasant.
😘
These videos made me see bats differently 🦇
Thanks Cyborgelf
Welcome to Megabattie,
I put lots of information in the descriptions under the videos - so if you have questions, look for the answers there first. I also put the fate of the animal if I know it, at the time I put the video up. I may put updates there later if I find out what happened to the animal after it has left my care.
There is also a Happy Outcomes playlist if you want to only watch videos where the bat survives; this is a real life channel and you get the good, the bad, the ugly and distressing, and even my oopsies.
You can find further videos on an individual bat by searching in the YT search bar for Megabattie/and the name of the bat you want to follow.
There is a community tab (like a mini Facebook page) on my channel - if you go to Megabattie home page, there is a menu bar across the top under the cover pic. Home, Videos, Playlists, Community, About. If you click on the community tab there are posts there where I can share pix and talk about some of the videos I put up and answer questions.
@@Megabattie thanks

But mum how come you don’t have a fuzzy face or wings like l’ve got?
Mum is clearly big, furless, ugly and not a proper batty, but Mum loves them anyway despite anatomical impediment.
Now flying foxes can't get fat right? they are eating fruit so there's no way their getting fat from fruit
Fruit is high in sugars, so of course they can get fat from eating enough; they need a balanced diet including protein, which the babies get from their milk, and the adults get from a supplement whilst in care, and in the wild, they get their protein from pollen and rainforest fruits, which are higher in protein than our very sweet - cultivated for the domestic market - fruits.
In care they can get very fat because of the lack of flying exercise, which is very energy intensive, and because they have plenty of food, for which they don't have to expend energy.
