Just ordered two sets on the Bay. Thanks for the heads up.
You know, it is cool they have those wheel sets available. And love that fact Andy is carrying them!
Yes, very cool. And he's got more coming
I have used multiple types of Aoshima wheels and tires.very high quality.👍
Aoshima takes an interesting place in the hobby, let's hope they prosper and diversify.
Oh wow...!!! Thank you so much for putting that flyer at the beginning about the Lawrence, Mass model show.. I live next town over and will attend..!! I am really looking forward to it.
Our pleasure!
@@TheLukaCeeChannel just curious if you plan on making the trip to that show.? I would love to meet with you if you do..!!
That is a nice set of rims and tires that would go great on a fenderless build of the Monogram's '33 Ford. Can't wait to see your video on the slots.
Wow! Those are realy cool😎👍🏻
You can never go wrong with Cragar's! Well maybe on a 90's Miata......Thanks for sharing.
Hey Luka, great that these Wheel and tyre sets are coming back!THX for Info!As much as i know Aoshima bought ARII a looooong time ago!
Just went to Andy's to get a set of those beautiful tires and wheels and they're not on his site. I'll check back in a couple of days............... Thanks for sharing . They're a great set!
Very nice quality. Always been a fan of Aoshima since the old days.
saw those someone was sharing on one of the live streams a few weeks ago. there was a second set he showed also.
Those look good!
They do
Those are great looking wheels and tires. I need a set for a Chevelle I'm going to be building soon. Thanks for sharing this.
These came out awhile ago. I remember buying them at hobby lobby.
thanks for the video! those are nice looking tires
Those would look awesome on my ‘71 Cuda. I have always wanted to make a copy of the Phantasm Cuda.
I was looking for some Crager wheels. Very sweet!
Those are cool, I like the Aoshima kits that I have 😁✌️
Very nice! When the MRCs were available, I always thought they were much better than what came in kits at the time. I still have a set of them unopened, I can't wait to get a set of these Aoshinas
I had to get a set of these wheels when they came out. They are nice. Wish they would release them in different widths too.
Thanks for sharing. 😎
Yes, that would be nice.
Is There a Reason You Can't Print Varied Widths For Us Joel ?? Asking For My Friends 👍👍 GBA 🤗 Gary.
@@garyparker2969he actually does
Those look nice. This is my favorite style of wheels and I can see using them on muscle cars and street rods. "Shabs"???😅
Great looking tire/wheel set. Thanks for showing them.
Those are nice, yaaa 👍
Those wheels and tires look great. I’m sure they will sell a lot of those. Thanks for sharing.
Well God Bless Andy's Lil Styrene L❤VIN' Heart 🏆🏆 I'll Be ✔️n Out His Website Soon . Thanks For Sharing Buddy n Have a Blessed Week @ Work Too 🤗 Gary.
So the Aoshima's are marketed as 1/24, but they look more like 1/25? That's great!
Man, it must be nice to just go down the street to your model shop... Lol Loving the new tire set. Love me some Gragar's... I will have to get me some from Andy's payday! That is not a bad price at all... Thanks!!!
LLAP 🖖
I really hope they'll be available in Europe as well.. 🤞
Very cool
Hopefully they will also produce the old wheels like the ones in they heavy Chevy or the flip nose
I just found you through the blue ox. I like your presentation, and will be following you as I just subscribed. Thank you for the information and reviews on the tire sets. I've been looking for some, and Andy can expect to hear from me.
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it.
Man those are cool!!
Yes they are
Wow, those are sweet. I'm a sucker for Cragars.
Love some good Cragars. My brother had the MRC sets back in the day, and I was wondering about the Aoshima version. Pretty cool!
Iceman has some REALLY cool Cragars too. They come in different widths and there’s a bunch of different tire combinations too. I don’t think they fill 1/24 wheel wells as much…BUT I COULD BE wrong. 😅
Anyway, thanks for sharing this info!
✌🏽😎👍🏾
MRC also did the Keystone Mags. They came with Indy Profile. Big & Little tires. The tires are real rubber, Mickey Thompson tires. I still have 5 complete sets.
Nice video and information.
I got a set of the crager wheels from Hobby nut models a couple of weeks ago. Very nice wheels and tires, thinking of saving them for a cuda build later down the road.
Great video Luka, I had a feeling that these may be repops of something but the smaller 1/25 scale made me question it until you compared them to the others.
It would be interested to see if the slot mags you were talking about were copies of the ARII wheels (I'm using those exact wheels on my current S&H Torino bench project). Could be they've bought up or borrowed tooling from the old Japanese brands. If so they will be more 1/24. If so that would be great news as those imo were the best out of all of them. They have probably tooled new tyre moulds though and those lovely BF Goodrich's may not be there anymore.
Just been catching up and watched your USACC project, great idea using the turbines on that and looking forward to what you do with it... would make a great hauler for last year's Plymouth and you could maybe put the engine for it in the back of the Ford (or even just throw a cover over an old engine and disguise it as stowage to save you extra work) 😉 .
Thanks again for showing these and hope all is well 😊
Got these and think I need to get a second set to do the fat rears all round as those fronts are way too small on a 1/24 Road runner
I agree with the disappointment from the Musclecar Hop up set.. The transition from the tread to the sidewall is too blocky, squared off. My favorite wheel /tire combo so far are the Micky Thompson / Cragar set that AMT put in the 70 1/2 Baldwin Motion Camaro set. That new set looks awesome, as well.
Yes. I've used those tires with the MRC wheels
What if you prefer goodyear tires
What's the O.D. measurement on the Aoshima tires?
How far is Andy's from Tucson
I haven't measured them. I'm sure you can find those dimensions on the Aoshima site. I have no idea how many miles you have to travel to Andy's.
Andy's doesn't have them on the website . Can't wait to seethe slots .
They will be
Cool . I will be ordering them as soon as he gets them up ,the slots too . Thank You@@TheLukaCeeChannel
Just tried ordering a set but they're not on the site yet.
Not yet. But they will be
But will they fit your USACC build?
No. As I said in the video. These are better on a 1/25th scale model. I've got the wheels and tires for my USACC build
These tires and wheels are not provided for us hobbiests here in Oklahoma
I would love to know where I could get all of these sets
andyshhq.com
Thank you for the email, I surely appreciate this very much.
Oh to inter a model does it have to be the 55 Ford truck
It's isn't a contest it just a group build within the model car content creator community. And it has to be the Monogram 55 Ford truck of panel van in 1/24th scale. Not other kit.
Ok Thanks @@TheLukaCeeChannel
Got a set of these. Scale diameter seems too small imo
Does Andy do mail orders
andyshhq.com
Andy's Hobby does not have them right now at least I did Not see them on his web site
No, but they will be on there soon. He's waiting on the big order.
Ok Thanks
@@TheLukaCeeChannel
Nice rear tires, but I think the fronts are too wide and too low profile for muscle car use. Regardless, a set of wheels and tires for 15 bucks when you can get an entire model for 20-35 dollars is no great bargain.
Ok
I see that Aoshima has many wheel/tire sets that are priced even higher. Considering that the majority of those cannot readily be found elsewhere, the pricing is what it is. But, come on, doesn't almost everyone seeing this already have dozens and dozens of Cragars and slots and what not sitting around? I just don't see running out to buy parts that already exist in quantity. Just my opinion. @@TheLukaCeeChannel
