Unlike any other band out there, full stop. Hands down my favorite newer metal band that’s tech-death. Thing I love the most is that I really had to listen quite a few times to understand their thing, and that’s what I dig about bands that stick around in my repertoire for years.
One of my fouvourite bands so far! so tasty, in my top 3 with deathspell omega. I just regret Will Smith isn't in the band any more, I realy liked his vocals
@@Astral_Wave Imperial Triumphant is amazing but I don't consider them Death Metal just like Deathspell & Portal aren't Death Metal... they're all more dissonant or avant garde metal. Artificial Brain, Gorguts, Ad Nauseam, Ulcerate,Tomb Mold, Blood Incantation, Cosmic Putrefaction, & Horrendous are my personal favorites in Tech Death
Sincerely, this band will never be the same without Will fronting them live or writing their lyrics. Yes, Dan is the composer, but Will is absolutely his foil onstage and on paper. I know it wasn't a bad falling out (from what I can gather) and Will still has plenty of other projects going on, but I feel like ArtiBrain is fractured now and I may have to find a new favorite death metal band.
