For this list, we're looking at instances where our speedy hedgehog has blasted his way into a vast selection of games from SEGA’s other franchises and the company’s business partners. Our list includes "NiGHTS Into Dreams" (1996), "Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg" (2003), the "Monster Hunter" series (2004-), "Minecraft" (2011), and more! Lego Dimensions is definitely a lawyer's nightmare but a fanboy's dream.
Despite it being crazy expensive, it was probably my favorite LEGO game.
And it was worth it(holds Sonic LEGO Figure close). And you'll never get my precious. NEVER!
P.S. Dear LEGO. Please make a LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog game.
@@paultidd Yes, it was crazy expensive with all the IPs they licensed, and sadly, it didn't sell well due to being released in a time when the toys to life genre was on death's door after being oversaturated.

In one lesser-known classic, Crusader of Centy, Sonic made a minor cameo in the beach area, relaxing in a lounge chair. if you spoke to him, he'd say, "Tsk tsk, I'm a gallant hedgehog. Don't mess with me or you'll get burned."
Is Great to See this Franchise expand on other Adaptations and as for the 30 Anniversary of the Franchise can you do Top 30 Sonic List like Characters,Stages,Songs,and Games Ranks Please.
It's nice to see my favorite video game character pop up in other games!
I loved him in Brawl and Minecraft, but Lego Dimensions has gotta be the best one so far! It was loaded with references, FINALLY giving us Sonic fans an official Minifigure of the blue blur, and was some of the best writing of the franchise in years!
And it's great that the tradition continues to this very day with the just-announced free Monster Hunter DLC for Sonic Frontiers
Seeing Sonic in Minecraft, Billy Hatcher, Nights, Super Monkey Ball, Smash Bros Brawl, & Lego Dimensions is definitely WAY PAST COOL!

I was not shocked at all when Sonic was announced for Brawl. First of all, the news that a contract had been sign to use him in the game came out months before the announcement. And after Snake, we already knew that third party characters could be in Smash bros, and Sonic was the most obvious choice both because he was Mario's and Nintendos biggest rival in the 90's, but also far from unthinkable after Mario & Sonic at the Olympic games and all the Sonic games for Nintendo consoles. They were already having a crossover, him being in Smash wasn't a big deal.
those are some pretty amazing cameos indeed. of course the very first game Sonic ever appeared in at least officially was when he was an accessory for your car and some driving game that was in fact released before the first Sonic the hedgehog game, however unofficially there's an enemy that looks exactly like Sonic in some old computer game that came out like a few days before the original Sonic the hedgehog game came out

How about Sonic making an appearance in a game that was released just prior to Sonic the Hedgehog was released in 1991 on the Megadrive/Genesis?
The game in question is called "The Adventures of Quik & Silva" and was released May 10, 1991 for the Commodore Amiga and Atari ST.
Just though it should have been on the list, but due to its rarity isn't well known and gets easily overlooked
Also Rad Mobile was released in Arcades 1990 in Japan. There was a sonic figure dangling from the rearview mirror in the car. I believe that was his first appearance.

There was one in "Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission: Las Vegum", where at certain section of the game, the Roman army dress up as Sonic, with the Rings as a chakram weapon
Sonic even infiltrated an Online Multiplayer Racing game, which is also a Mario Kart rip-off, called “CrazyRacing KartRider”, and it’s mobile version “KartRider Rush +”. In those games, you play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and also Shadow as a playable runner/runner-rider and Dr. Robotnik is a playable rider character with his own kart Egg Booster

Here's another Infiltrated Other Games List, about Captain Falcon/F-Zero.
6. Nintendo Land: One of the mini-games in this Wii U Party game is "Captain Falcon's Twister Race" where your character drives in the Blue Falcon and must avoid obstacles on the track. This may be the closest we have to a recent F-Zero title.
5. Kirby Super Star/Ultra: In the Great Cave Offensive sub-game, 1 of the 60 treasures available in Captain Falcon's helmet. There could be another F-Zero related treasure, like Pico's Wild Goose.
4. Animal Crossing: New Leaf: If the player obtains a Fortune Cookie, one of the random fortunes will say, "When all else fails, never forget to show them your moves." If you get this rare fortune, your prize will be the Blue Falcon. How amazing is that?
3. Pokemon Stadium 2: A "Mystery Gift" option for the player will be an SNES, and one of the playable games will be F-Zero. Neat!
2. Star Fox series: There is an F-Zero pilot named James McCloud, who not only shares the name and design of Fox's father, but his machine also closely resembles an Arwing. Cool reference.

Mario Kart 8/Deluxe: Captain Falcon and his Blue Falcon are available in the game with his Amiibo, and the Mute City and Big Blue tracks are also available to race on, as if you are playing a real new F-Zero game. Plus, the tracks include the track's original themes, and Big Blue adds "Yeah, The Final Lap!" Rad!

Nights into Dreams did not have a Sonic cameo. That game you are showing is Christmas Nights. A stand alone release for the Saturn. More precise, it was given away with magazines and such. A expanded demo of Nights if you will.
Also, Rad Mobile was Sonic first ever appearance, as that game was released 1990 in Japanese arcades.

You can say what you want about Lego Dimensions, but it gave us Lego Sonic

@@topfranluis1 I'm still trying to get certain sets for the game with Knight Rider being a significant one for me....I grew up with that show and A-Team. Makes me kind of wish we got at least 1 more year of content & maybe get LEGO Macguyver in there too
