I had one as a car rental while I was visiting Perth and I thought it was a pretty decent car to drive. What I liked about it was, it’s easy to drive and has all physical buttons. Doesn’t have all those stupid haptic controls like most of these new cars have.
I can see the comments now it's old ,it's low on tech blah blah .But simple no nonsense basic SUV with old dials for heating ,AC and the old J11 na 2.0 eng bullet proof one of the. biggest selling compact suvs a Mitsubishi dealer in Sydney said they can't keep them in stock as they come in they fly out the door and resale value like a toyota
The asx is old , but it will definitely outlast 2 generations of Chinese models. It will also have endless replacement parts available. I prefer an eclipse cross though, the cross interior is better and has better acceleration. The eclipse cross cvt shifts like an automatic And the 4b40 turbo engine in the cross is very reliable. Its been around since 2018 with no issues.
I have an asx and I'm in the market to buy a completely different brand, it is a good run about car but it is getting old and would be great for those who are not tech savvy or who needs a small work car
What happens to your support of your Chinese car if our relationship with the Chinese continues to decay. Check the resale value of ASX compared to the Chinese, big difference.

They should offer more features for this price, or lower the price. It is an older car after all, compared to other brands.
Mitsubishi do yourself a favour and get rid of the CVT I suppose lucky they still have a manual option in the base model
Medium Mitsubishi Pajero
So ancient. No.
Not broke, don't fix it. Simplicity is the attraction, particularly for the senior driver.
too old
More budget go for Korean car, less budget go for chinese car
Just buy a chery tiggo 4.
