i got this dumb idea that maybe we should not dock or clip the ears of the guys i have and so far it has saved me lots of time and money but yes i do not get the dobies all the other peers on the block may have, yet i still got to put every discipline in the dog with thousands of hours of training and tedious dedication to make sure he more than my toy or cosmetic add on to my life. great channel man.
No, the ears on a full blooded Doberman will never stand no matter how long you post their ears. They will only stand if you have them professionally cropped and posted. My family has been breeding Euro's for over 35yrs.

Still work for an 8 month old dog?
Yes! You can definitely post an 8 month old dog with the assumption that your dog's ears were cropped when they were 10-13 weeks old.
Can you still post the ears even if it’s not cut?
I think it's possible but it will take consistency with posting to train the ears to stand. The outcome will differ compared to ears that are cropped.
