Same when I recently got really into his music I noticed very similar vibes. I'd say them, as well as Flying Lotus pay homage to both John and Alice Coltrane
I still remember my first time hearing this. It was so solid at the beginning, then @4:15 the drummer’s pause let me know this was gonna be a banger. Sure enough around 20 seconds later y’all let me know you weren’t playing around at @4:27...have been listening to this ever since Still listening to this years later, great job here y’all
The guy on the keyboard is blowing my MIND!! And the tenor sax player!! And the drummer!! -_- So many emotions and no way to express them... This is just amazing.
everything was so amazing i love how you take popular songs and put that jazz feel on em its like being able to hear the same song in a totally different way and the addition of the sax is perfect.
This the kinda song I would play around my kids. I'd grow old and they'd come visit and we would get to talking, and they'd say "dad what was that one song you used to play to us as kids" an I wouldn't recall, and they'd hum this tune, and I'd cry at the flood of emotions that just hit me
just amazing! just saw them play a few hours ago fucken unbeleivable live!! crowd surfing, moshing, head banging i fucken love this band. theyve chanegd my life!
So glad to have discovered these dudes. I am just now discovering jazz greats like Thelonious Monk and I've always liked hip hop. bb is new jazz and they're all into the same rap I'm into as well. so dope.
You guys should come back to this song in the future..like a few years from now. Hopefully you'll still be making dope compositions. But just to see if and how you all have changed in sound. I think it'd be dope.
Wow you guys definitely put your own stamp by changing the chords a little, and adding the sax. And it even got avant-garde. This song gives a jazz musician a lot to work with
well its within the keys it just augmented or diminished in some way so it may take getting use to and if its not something you've grown up listening to or understand in general it will initially be hard to grasp, but yes also sometimes they will play something up a have step or some shit...i think it sounds dope but its almost something only other jazz appreciators or musicians would get
Why. Is. This. Not. In. Spotify. It's. Been. 84. Years
My dog, it really is 7x faster for you guys hugh
seeing drummers like this really makes me want to quit my job and become a modern jazz drummer
do itttttt!!!!!!
Chris Morgan Jamie xx :)
Chris Morgan now or never
seeing drummers like this really makes me want to buy a pig mask.
little by little start at least, but do it :) it is possible!
If this was released in like 1960, it would be a classic
It *is* a classic.
Sounds like the old jazz masters. Very rich sound.
💯
Instead it's a load of asinine BS? PLZ KILL ME NOW X
Still listening to this in 2046
My Dad being a Jazz Musician and me being a Fan of Odd Future, it really makes me happy seeing someone bring the two together
How’s your dad doing? Wishing you guys the best based off of your music taste alone.
@@garbagejuice1 he a hooper now.
That sax player is KILLING it. Coltrane licks left and right, really diggin' this.
Damn 9 years ago? I wish i could go back in time, to hear this beautiful song and have made better decisions in my life. Masterpiece

Crinhe
The moment the beat first hits...hhnngghh.
I cant be the only one who gets a Love Supreme vibe from this. This is amazing and a direct quoting of Coltrane
Same when I recently got really into his music I noticed very similar vibes. I'd say them, as well as Flying Lotus pay homage to both John and Alice Coltrane
FlyLo definitely does because he's related to the both of them.
+Janel I And Kamasi Washington
Totally agree
Which part?
I got McCoy Tyner vibes
They should do an album with Tyler
***** BBNG actually did some stuff on Doris and WOLF
They should've been on cherry bomb
Thomas Bear yo dude what songs? I would love to know
Jacob Jimenez I know that bbng made the hoarse instrumental on Doris, but that's all I know
no
I don't know how they can do so much improv but still remain in synch this is art
I hope in a 100 years time, people are still talking of these guys.
I love the Debussy-esque feel to everything. Modern impressionism/jazz at it's finest. Nicely done!
Bussy
I really like the bit where they play their instruments
Real
You Can Always Tell A Band Is Good Together When They Accommodate To Each Other's Tempo And Preferred Direction Of The Improvisation.
this makes me want to learn how to play instruments, and im going too.
thank you guys for the inspiration.

I still remember my first time hearing this. It was so solid at the beginning, then @4:15 the drummer’s pause let me know this was gonna be a banger. Sure enough around 20 seconds later y’all let me know you weren’t playing around at @4:27...have been listening to this ever since

The guy on the keyboard is blowing my MIND!! And the tenor sax player!! And the drummer!! -_- So many emotions and no way to express them... This is just amazing.
Best cover for She ever
One of my favorite songs by them... Such greatness.
Incredible jazz rendition of She. Jazz meets hip hop, can't handle the epicness!
Haven’t heard this in yearsss. So glad I was reminded ❤️
They all get so in to it, dope to see people with such a strong passion and vibe in what theyre playing...so sick
I've probably watched this 100 times and listened to it on my iPod 1000 times. This is Gold.
some of the very best music i have ever heard BRAVO!!
if i didnt know them, id think theyre old experienced modern jazz artists..those climaxes and buildups were dramatically perfect!!
everything was so amazing
i love how you take popular songs and put that jazz feel on em
its like being able to hear the same song in a totally different way
and the addition of the sax is perfect.
Dat sax tone sounds a lot like the Coltrane.
Still the best BBNG track
+Billy Sawyers too right billy!
not a BBNG track. Odd Future cover
It’s not a bbng track smh..
It’s Tyler’s song
This the kinda song I would play around my kids. I'd grow old and they'd come visit and we would get to talking, and they'd say "dad what was that one song you used to play to us as kids" an I wouldn't recall, and they'd hum this tune, and I'd cry at the flood of emotions that just hit me

So glad to have discovered these dudes. I am just now discovering jazz greats like Thelonious Monk and I've always liked hip hop. bb is new jazz and they're all into the same rap I'm into as well. so dope.

Very happy these gems stayed lowkey.. I mean look at the fan bases these artist grew, and for these vids to have such little views. Astonishing.
This takes me to a place i want to constantly revisit.
You guys should come back to this song in the future..like a few years from now. Hopefully you'll still be making dope compositions. But just to see if and how you all have changed in sound. I think it'd be dope.
This is too good. So much talent.

Humans are really amazing
so smooth..OF definitely gotta do a show with you guys..at least one
Wow you guys definitely put your own stamp by changing the chords a little, and adding the sax. And it even got avant-garde. This song gives a jazz musician a lot to work with
Love you guys. So much. Keep up the good work.
This is seriously amazing. You guys conjured Nujabes + Uyama Hiroto on this, unbelievable. So melancholic
that was awesome. loved it.
After Wolf comes out, just make all three albums with Tyler as a live boxset PLEASE.
what do you mean 12 years???
A great influence of John Coltrane's A Love Supreme is noticeable, in addition the piano riff is very reminiscent of In A Sentimental Mood
They are too Jazzy , Soul Touchin Band right here
Good musicians are in every genre.
Damn they got style and flow. Dont even need vocals to this. Great work!!!
I'm amazed. This is really, really good.
Excellent. Thanks for the free downloads on your site.

This masterpiece is finally almost to a million. Goddamn this goes hard!
well its within the keys it just augmented or diminished in some way so it may take getting use to and if its not something you've grown up listening to or understand in general it will initially be hard to grasp, but yes also sometimes they will play something up a have step or some shit...i think it sounds dope but its almost something only other jazz appreciators or musicians would get
