Agree! Goofballs at Sportsnet made it look like there was a no-call when the Isles fired it in and scored from waaay outside the blue line when an Isles forward was already halfway deep in the zone. Budgeting? Layoffs? Or sheer stupidity. If they didn't have this job, they'd be filming bar-mitzvahs.

As an ex-player (non-pro) & a NY Isles fan? Why the -blank- did every single Isles player reach for #52 who’s a goal scorer, and let him skate right past them with the puck on his stick untouched to the top of our own red =🔴= That’s unacceptable and Roy knows that. I put the first goal on the skaters and not on our netminder. I can’t believe Pelech (or anyone else for that matter) didn’t not lower his shoulder and step-up & check #52 off the puck with a good clean hard check instead of skating backwards & giving up way too much ice. Good clean hard shoulder and hipchecks are very much legal on the professional level. The Isles always looked like a no-contact (but you can get away with a lot of contact) men’s recreational hockey league team I played on in Kings Park every single a matinee game. Good luck 👍 to the Calgary Flames and their entire fan base. See ya next season, and give’m Hell in the Western conference!
