Hi Maria and thanks for this wonderful demo. Do you have a recommended source for the gator board you used in the video? Did you have to cut it to size? Thanks for any info you can provide.
Loved your study of blues. It’s interesting that you’ve selected Indanthrone Blue for the sky. I personally find it a bit too dark for the skies where I live.
True! It depends on where you live! We find it's a beautiful shade for moody sky days and to mix into sunset and sunrise skies to capture the fading darkness of night. We hope you enjoy experimenting with blues!
Very interesting skies. I’ve never seen burnt sienna and indanthrone blue used in a sky. It was interesting to watch. I also noticed how you have changed your voice. I think it must be to sound more polished or professional? It really comes across as different when you say the word sky. I just want you to know that I think you sounded fine just being yourself. Your voice was just fine the way it was. I hope nobody made you feel like you needed to be more professional.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Oh, I haven't done anything intentional to change my voice, though I have had more practice in recording! For the Watercolor Fundamentals Course I taught this fall, I recorded and edited 13+ hours of video! It's been a fun learning process and I love sharing here! 🙂😘
A beautifully thought out and painted demonstration! Thanks so much, Maria!
You're so kind! Thank you!
So interesting. Thank you!
Thank you so much for watching!

You can sometimes find it sold at frame shops, but we hope to add it to our shop one day, too! It's great as a painting surface.
