The Boston Billionaire Bringing AI and Robots To Construction Sites

- The construction industry in the US is a $2.1 trillion dollar industry which has historically been driven by human labor.
Though the Covid-19 pandemic sent the industry into a tailspin with people working from home, supply chain issues and rising material costs, it’s still one of the largest sectors of the US economy. But it hasn’t fully recovered.
Construction firms are looking for new ways to evolve. One company paving the way towards change is Suffolk Construction, based in Roxbury, Massachusetts, and led by its Chairman and longtime CEO, John Fish.
Fish is not your traditional construction CEO. He’s geared the business toward embracing disruptive technologies, like robotics and artificial intelligence, venture capital investments, and embracing how the built world is changing from technology.

@@maggiejean_nahas I don't know Why pessimists fear technology. If robots could do that work we will start doing more meaningful tasks. So, that we can evolve faster in the world. If a robot can mine the resources then we will have more time to make better infrastructure better technology. If a robot start making houses, We will do other meaningful tasks like new inventions etc. Hope you understand
Don't worry i promise to always buy from a business which employs minimum humans and maximizes on Robot/AI. Automated Fast food, automated coffee stores, heck my dream is to build a large language model solving for taxation so that i never have to visit another accountant in my life.

If anybody viewing this video understands the value of human work to generate money in our communities please like and add to this comment. Seriously Forbes do not go there in this economy. Men and Women work to build houses to support their families. That i come is vital. If you want to post something like this, start with an intro of a substantial job that construction workers can take place in and not have their families at jeopardy.
