Speaking of Chocolates in 2018 International Chocolate Awards, Philippines got 6 awards from different categories.
3 Philippine chocolate brands ranked among the best in the world during 2018 Academy of Chocolate Awards in London, UK.
Chocolates of Malagos Agri-Venture Corp, Auro Chocolate, and Theo & Philo Artisanal Chocolates were rated as among the best from around the 1,200 entries from 45 countries worldwide. All 3 brands source their cocoa beans from Davao.

Alfonso Chocolate Tablea is still in the market but limited only. Base in my experience, most of the quality of chocolate tablea was cut down due to the price hike of the ingredients. Before medyo matagal sya matunaw, ngayon ambilis nyang madurog, so it means the ingredients is not 100% pure. And the size is quite smaller unlike before.

Nothing beats the best combo, dried fish with Garlic fried rice and a cup of pure hot chocolate on the side. If you add in a saucer of vinegar and minced onions as a sauce for your dried fish, you'll be in heaven. My grandma cooks it for breakfast once a week before sending me to school. When I was younger, we were poor and we didn't have gas stoves. She had to use firewood each and every time she cooks, so cooking was really a struggle. I even made it a habit to pick up firewood while going back home from school to help her out.
Even though my grandma was really old she still manages to dry the fish herself and makes tablea from the cocoa tree near our house so I'd say she's a pretty cool grandma. She was a jolly and patient old lady, this is how I will always remember her. This is my one and only favorite breakfast and having this breakfast reminds me of her. I will pass this on to my grandchildren as well, and I know they'll remember me like how I remember my lola.

Voltes V and Transformers cartoon version not the 3D version we have now!.🥰✌❤ i really enjoy that you guys showcasing this filipino foods because it is part of every filipino child who grew up here in the Philippines who are not that much influenced by western cultures! 😁✌❤🤗🤗 every time you showcase foods like this it is really a good feeling to watch!!❤❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗love you both😌😌🤗🤗❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰

Thank you for taking pinoy breakfast mainstream for honest review. Brings back memories eating champurado and tuyo specially during rainy season. Watching from San Diego California.

The hot chocolate is my favorite. I was raised on that kind of breakfast beverage as a kid. But this is the best thing to do after a heavenly breakfast on a rainy day. Go back home, put on the pajamas, get back in bed and watch movies all day. Lol! Great show guys! 👍😀

Filipinos love champorado so much!!!! Tuyo is a good combination with champorado, but you can eat it with or without tuyo, champorado with ripe mango is also good.

My late Auntie used to make home made tsokolate....they have cacao planted on their backyard and a machine to grind cacao..
Its what we drink together with "budbud" sticky race cooked in coconut milk and wrapped in banana leaves and ripe mango. Budbud is native in visayas region.

The chocolate used in your chocolate drink is pure tablea. You can buy it in supermarkets.
