    Thanks for sharing! Looks like a lot of effort but then again, tallow balm can be quite pricey to purchase. My carnivore beauty regimen consists using a lard bar for body wash, lard balm for lotioning my hands, a goat milk bar for shampoo, and then most recently because of winter weather, a beef tallow lip balm. If my wife didnt love my deodorant, I'd probably find a way for a steak deodorant!

      OOOO I'll have to look into the lard body soap!! That sounds amazing.

    This is perfect because I have so much rendered tallow and no one else made a video using it.👍

    Topical application of fat may help ease the symptoms, but nourishing the skin starts with diet: eliminate the ultra-processed junk and eat the fat, and your skin will heal from the inside.

    I make tallow balm. I love a little peppermint essential oil. Lotion for hands, feet and face. Love it.

    Well, I have decided to go down the tallow balm route and this was the first video I decided to watch. I've been treating my inside to tallow for 15 months straight and so now it's time to put some on my skin.
    Thank you for sharing. Your video has helped me :-)

    I have been looking for this for a while. I'm allergic to a lot of the additives in all kinds of things, especially petrolatum and other petroleum products. I and my family love fatty meats.😁🥩🍖🍗🥓🧀🥚🐟

    This is exactly how I purify my beef tallow that I get from my homemade bone broth. I learned from Carnivore Quest. Then I cook with it. Will have to try making tallow balm for my skin. Thx for showing us how you make it.

    You and Marisa at Bumblebee Apothecary make it look easy! I alternate between using tallow and lard balm. I've noticed the balm made from lard (has cocoa butter and coconut oil too) seems to moisturize my face really well, makes it dewy, almost better than the tallow. But both are great, I'll probably make some with tallow to compare again.

      Do you make the lard cream for face or buy? What’s the brand if you buy? Thanks 🙂

      @@Diana-mu9vd I make my own. You can definitely purchase it too, just do a google search. I had thought about buying it too but didn't want to spend the $$, so I experimented making my own and now and now my husband also uses it.

    Thank you, I will start saving my fat from the 14 Ibs of grass fed and finished beef I have delivered every month, does the salt help preserve the balm? I am using a herb infused whipped tallow balm I purchased now.

    Do you need to purify tallow for eating purposes? What is the darker stuff on bottom of tallow?

    • @neahsway
      @neahsway  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Normally, I eat it with all the little brown bits. It's just leftover meat drippings from the cooking process. It tastes great to me that way. But you certainly can purify it for eating as well.

    • @neahsway
      @neahsway  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I keep it in the fridge in a glass jar as I accumulate it, just in case there is still any water, it can separate out.
