I mean headshotting a squishy is a lot easier than trying to lead your punch on a strafing target. Wouldn't say it's broken tho, just frustrating at times
I dare you ti play widowmaker in comperitive and see how it goes. When you have ti get hs, around shields, map cover, against (most of the time) high mobile heros with small hitboxes while at the same time fighting off divers with limited movement. Doomfist in season 2 has high mobility, one shot damage, infinite stuns, good endurance, low cd etc So yeah, getting hs is much harder then punching someone/uppercut to safety if miss/get cd/repeat
It doesn't even need to keep the enemy still in the air it could just launch them back in an arch with no slowing in motion and still be useful, not unfun to play against, and make dooms movement even cooler.

However if they somehow added uppercut to his new kit, I think his mobility and brawl potential would be so fun to play with. I think Doom should be able to combo his ability’s for a kill, not just punch a tank every 3 seconds. He just feels boring to play rn imo.

Doom is a bit overtuned, but not op. If you're given a katana, but you don't know how to wield it, then it's just as useful as a sharpened stick. Don't expect to be a god at Doom because of the buffs, because most likely you'll still be shitted on. If you're a dedicated Doom one-trick, then you'll be fine.

ah so ive been playing DF wrong this whole time, my man got maybe 2 final blows in the first 3 minutes. i still play like hes assassin DF but it looks like hes all disruption, he almost never even finishes his charge, its all about disruption over and over and abusing mobility to keep knocking back

I just wish they’d give us uppercut back. Doomfists movement used to feel so fluid, I hate just playing him like a punch bot.
