This is a tremendous Mr Sinister on throne. This is one of those rare character fully covered with trophies of fallen mutants that shows how successful he has been in fighting other mutants. Even though I love the many different ways to show him off. It is way over done with so many things arround him at the throne, that takes away from how nicely made his sculpture came out. He didn't need that much prove that he is a strong mutant.. Still this sculpture is so full of impressive what seem to be trophy of fallen mutants. That it shows how Mr Sinister should not be taken for granted. Being that there is not that many of him made, this sculpture is impressively defined. That it is going to take allot of imagination to make one that can challenge this peace. Besides the poor paint job in some places this Mr Sinister on throne is amazing.
To Xtreme your collection is awesome congratulations keep doing what your doing people who leave hater comments are just jealous because they wish they could afford stuff like you. Again awesome collection.

Agree with the foot. Think it would have been better flat, crushing something down or at least a switchout for that option. Otherwise it's really well done, imo.
sculpt looks good, really would pop more with classic blue/black suit and white skin. Painted kits will look great done that way. The Sinister/Madeline custom is the one I want
From the pictures I saw in the group I thought this would definitely be an X statue but you did point out a lot of things that were not up to par on it. I can get how one can be lacking in some area's but the other aspects of it are so good that it brings it up in score as a whole.

Awesome statue yet again. It's a shame about the paint and the crack though. Personally, I'm really disappointed in the lack of a Gambit reference. Gambit is one of my favorite characters, and there are a lot of connections between he and Sinister. How about a vial somewhere on the statue representing the one sinister gave him in exchange for work? Or an image of Gambit on a computer monitor? Oh well, still an awesome concept, the switch outs are great.
All the body parts are based on Age of Apocalypse: The magneto helmet (which is why it is elongated but it may still be a bit too big to properly fit mags head), Wolverines forearm (he is missing a hand in the comic so that could be the missing hand), Prof. X is dead, and that's the design for Cyclops from AoA but if he wasn't missing an eye like he is in the comic. I like the dark tone though i wish some of the paint lines were sharper. For the smiling portrait it looks like his teeth are silver to, and i'd prefer that those were still white. Personally i like this design more than the traditional comic design

They should have had it like the 90’s cartoon.. He was more of the bluish color. The cyclops could have been better it looks like he has way to much hair kinda looks like carrot top lol.. cyclops hair was always short.. I like dark but even a dark figure needs some type of good contrast .. example lobo statues typically are very dark but it has just the right amount of color ... I think you judged it very well , I think you hit the nail on the head on the points you made... great video much respect ✊🏽
one of the reasons I hate customs is because of the overly large bases.... shipping and space is already a problem i don't get why these commissions continue to make massive bases and i refuse to order something with an overly large base
Great Review! I got the Ex coming soon. I bought the pre-order off some other guy and had no clue he even came with all these Switch-Outs and that it lit up? I just always thought Sinister was one of the cooler X-Men villains.
Once I order a piece I stay away from updates or other collectors posting pics till I get mine because then I’m more surprised when unboxing mine. As is the case here... didn’t know about the switchouts or the light up since I PO’d two years ago I forgot
I think the flame represents him taking the Phoenix force from jean grey many comics depict it this way ., not big on silver skin should b white like vampire his design is totally based on vampires.. Also pointed teeth woulda been better, suit shoulda been dark blue boots black hair more black , but overall awesome piece super jelly

I like this piece. Have you considered putting up the concept photos when you review a statue? Also, isn't Mr Sinister a lighter grey in the comics rather than this deep grey?
I think the statue was great its really cool yes the painting is the bad and the broken parts sucks but i think the base size and the rest of the atatue itself is great i like it
As impressive as this statue is. I'm not feeling the outfit. I feel like they dropped the ball on this. If they had used his classic outfit, this piece would have been a 1000% better, In my opinion.
Incredible concept, design ! Ssol did the proto paint for this one! That looked phenomenal! Which head is the exclusive? Light up feature in not an exclusive,right? Also looks a bit quite big,next to Apocalypse on throne....does it look nice next to other 1/4 scale X-MEN statues?
In the statue world Custom more often refers to “Unlicensed with a limited run”. True one of a kind custom I have actually. I would only recommend hand sculpt though as cost would be crazy for a digital sculpted piece to be completely commissioned as one of a kind.

It's quite nice but It's too big and the colour scheme is naff, I prefer comicbook accuracy, It's nowhere near as good as the Bowen Mr. Sinister statue! Overall I find throne pieces a bit dull and all of those switch outs are a waste of time, the manufacturer should pick the definitive character representation and forget all of the other nonsense!
dont like this one, strange choice of colors and the portraits are nowhere near the comic look of Mr. Sinister. Check the Bowen version for e.g. Anyways, thx for the review

i agree, its very dark! more contrast was needed for sure, but concept is dope

I've heard from toy collectors as well as statue collectors his cape causes some frustrations cause of all the tendrils

The light features are almost too bright but really good

That is a good idea to put up the initial render. Yes. They went a little heavy on the grey on this one.

Concept is good but it think it was poorly executed. The paint job needs to be better and more texture/detail on throne
