One question I have about this interesting-looking set-up is whether the distribution yard caters to one city or almost all of them? Surely the more trains that leave the distribution yard for multiple cities would need multiple platforms for each line? Meaning some lines will naturally get fewer goods to be delivered because of Transport Fever 2's odd habit of designating different amounts of the same cargo type for different cities. Or am I confused about the point of the distribution yard? The reason I ask is that I have tried something a bit like this before. I shipped individual cargo to sorting yards or hubs, then used bigger trains to carry that to HUUUUGE yard in a central position on the map, then used an even bigger train to send all the combined goods each city demanded to them. The two downsides to that test were that each train took differing amounts of cargo of the same type, due to distance and the amount the city demanded, and that you needed a new platform for every new line you added to the Big distribution yard. Apologies if I misunderstood the whole concept. I'm still confused, even after watching your recent video: 'ULTIMATE cargo guide to Transport Fever 2 1850-2000s'. LOL
Similar concept. Instead of taking all cargo one way the whole map is sharing. Its like switching every device you have on bluetooth the industries can talk to each other and send perfect outputs always depending on demand. Add a new city to the output? No problem the automatic system will increase the output and train load automatically. Hope this helps
@ oh do they grow like that as you feed them resources?? I’m new and have only done a couple of hours in game so far but really liking the way it looks
@Hushey nice. Naffey's wagons are modded wagons and will carry anything. Do you have some running empty at times to make this work or do you choose multi use wagons?
Amazing, but despite this profit is a bit irrelvent in this game, once you make profit thats it for the rest of the game so its usually quite simple. The goal is to build the best transport empire in the end
Actually on Very Hard these mixed trains in both directions is the way you need to go because they're making money in both directions instead of having dedicated services that run empty 50% of the time.
You will do, this is all vanila vehicles. You need to enable all in the settings when making a map / if you have old gen console you cant do it as its not powerful enough
watch You're Doing Cargo Wrong! The BEST Cargo Set Up You NEED to Know In Transport Fever 2 by clicking the link at the bottom of the video
Why don't you make a series? Seeing how you actually setup all that stuff real time would be really useful.
It would be. Noted
@@Hushey Please! I only see the Brutal series you have (and also saw why it stopped) but it'd be soooo enjoyable to see how you play
Like your channel and transport fever 2 bro
Thank you glad you do mega games 233
Why is having an “everything train” better than having dedicated train for every resource
No dead heading (train always full) and automatic demand loading than can cope with fluctuating demand chains (as buildings destroy or build)

Fr that's very nice
How are your cities so big is this base game??
Using my cargo designs on this page!
@ oh do they grow like that as you feed them resources?? I’m new and have only done a couple of hours in game so far but really liking the way it looks
@TheRedSparrowYT Yeah you just need to focus supply and not profit
Very usful will try this method
Do you do this with mixed consists of do you employ the services of Mr. Naffey and his wagons?
Yes mixed consist. Whats Mr naffey?
@Hushey nice. Naffey's wagons are modded wagons and will carry anything. Do you have some running empty at times to make this work or do you choose multi use wagons?
Oh, no i dont use this. And some cars yes but the whole map shares goods so its not a huge issue
How is the town so big
watch the video linked
How's the profit though? All those cars need maintenance
Amazing, but despite this profit is a bit irrelvent in this game, once you make profit thats it for the rest of the game so its usually quite simple. The goal is to build the best transport empire in the end
Nope, empire railway 2 please 😂😂😂😂😂😅
On very hard this cant be very profitable, can it?
Its exactly the same for the most part
Alright, ill give it a try then, thx mate ❤
@@ragnarokiscoming595 excellent let me know how you get on

@zackbobby5550 Yep
Just started playing this game. And well it’s fun and my kind of game. Coming from cities skylines.
Good! Have fun :)
Do you use mods? Cuz i dont have same trains like you do.
You will do, this is all vanila vehicles. You need to enable all in the settings when making a map / if you have old gen console you cant do it as its not powerful enough
what how is that city
Huh?
@@Hushey Thats city is so big how did you do that?
Watch my city growth video
Is there an easy way for console edition
Follow the instructions in the linked video at the bottom of the screen
Why are your cities accepting raw goods?
Its a mod i have on for an extra challenge - town demand tuning
@@Hushey ah ok I see thanks for clearing that up!
All trains are doing no profit
Profit is not the goal, its to build the best transport empire. Making infinite money is easy, satisfying consumer demand is not
