Funny enough Float Step in PVP somehow works at times especially if they are using Blast while you have Blast Armor to tank said blast giving you priority
Especially with all the blast armour characters out there, this is how all you need to know. 😒 No thought process required.
But you have to time it correctly so the opponent doesn't sidestep you
1. Spend your life savings summoning for gogeta blue, gohan beast and pan
2. Press buttons
I would have to say for newer players learning the amount of frames every move takes is the most important learning curve for this game. For example: you cannot blast from long range use the main and continue your combo. You can however dash up after a strike then use a blast which will push them back to mid range then use your main and continue the combo.

thanks for the tips goresh, I'm currently trying to implement some of the things you talked about to my playstyle, may take me some time but I think I'll get it eventually
I used to want the be a dragon ball legends tryhard but now i wanna play it casually though i am watching this to learn how to play like a tryhard for if i ever go back to wanting to tryhard.
btw I had quit for about a year since I lost my progress but I managed to get my progress back. I am currently still a bit rusty on swiping forwards then to the side then attacking but other than that I have gone beyond my skill ceiling a decent bit. Though I also think my faster reaction time than before helps.
I have been wanting a video like this for years! Thank you Goresh! I’m excited to take my PvP gameplay to the next level!

This is really cool, throughout last year I had been suspecting that you based some of your playstyle on concepts from the jp players, seeing the ug move was great, and I might be wrong but I feel like you have taken some inspiration from Kesuke's and Tatsushin's tutorials, since those videos are only in Japanese having this is very cool and emphasising the importance of drops was great also.
Dropping combos also relies on what arts cards you used. Blasts and strikes have different amounts of hit stun.
Yeah, the best way explaining it is that strikes are equivalent to 1 tick, and blast are 2 ticks

Wow perfect timing this what I need even though I'm winning my pvp match but I still need this tips/tricks. I mostly need tips counter Ultra Kaioken because his god damn strike lock and mess me up and I suck dealing with it. Lost 2 matches in a row just because people use Ultra Kaioken.

@@Gaming_beast45you intentionally make your game laggy by some unknown methods. This makes both the players have a tough time playing the game. Report the player if the whole match was extremely laggy.

Great vid, only thing that wasn't mentioned is that if you "jump jump" someone they can queue up their rising rush which is delayed so it always hits. So unless you guess the rush, you lose.

being able to pay attention to what cards your opponent are using and also the cards that they drew with their abilites would also help, especially when trying to guess a rising rush.. i rarely losing a game because of that information alone coz guessing rising rush is really huge and most of the time can be a difference between winning and losing..
6.) If you've experienced a laggy match, turn the app off and go for a walk. It helps you keep you sanity. Learned it the hard way.

After years of playing pvp here is the most unanimously agreed by players , tips and tricks list to help you win 99% of your pvp games.
Step #1: spend 1 morbillion dollars

Literally just hope to god you pull whatever op unit they come out with next. Doesn’t take to much skill nowadays literally if your lucky with summons it’s the equivalent of a bike with training wheels

I have been doing most of these techniques without even knowing they were techniques 😂
Without watching this video I can give my tips:
1. Always summon on the unit that make it's own meta (Legends festival style)
2. Always have a hp z-ability in ur team
3. Stand passively the whole game for perfect vanish
4. Remember to always bring a unit with cover nullification from the beginning
5. Mid-range strike is a very great tech but u can only catch the pros once.... Next time u do it... U should have ur forfeit button ready
6. If u want to be toxic (don't recommend it though) if u are losing .. lose till ur opponent wants to LF u only then forfeit.

Unfortunately this looks better just because I screen recorded it directly on my device. The reason the quality normally isn't as good is because of the cable used to connect iPhones to the capture card has some issue. I've searched everywhere for a fix and there just isn't one.
@@Goresh Maybe isn't it time to you know, buy atleast an iPad or something or do some alternatives (i.e Elgato). Your content is really good man, its just the quality is unbearable at times.
@@MisterHabadu I do use an Elgato, that’s the capture card. And I’m not going to transfer my game to an iPad since I play all the time when I’m out.
No.1 mid range strike
Never spoke about overriding tackles with strikes or backing up to blast a tackle
I feel like I’ve been using this techniques subconsciously without knowing I never really watched a dbl guide my highest points are 39k on x2 rp and BR 65 regular rp
Full range and mid range strikes are two of the most powerful moves no doubt.

For me it’s gotta be the movement speed or the register inputs of cards. There’s been time where I PV an opponent close range and attacking immediately; however, they managed to dodge my attack. 2 when both me and my opponent go in for a clash but we both side step; however, my input doesn’t Register. 3 lastly the long range tackle has a long recovery time from being attacked
Istg people that pv again after I pv and attack immediately are hackers

One of my biggest pet peeves in PvP is when people go for full range strikes in PvP and it works out for them. Most of the time people go for a strike cancel so I go for a tackle to make them vanish and generally they go for an attack away but some people just do not strike cancel either due to insanity or lack of knowledge about it and they get to start a combo.
You can also time a strike or blast card during his strike cancel
Use tap attack instead of a strike
You can also notice the insane people who love to use full range strikes when they use mid range strike for no reason at all
I have very gud tip play till you get enough Kristal’s and then gamble

1. Full range strike every time
Unwritten rules of Legends PVP:
1. Never double rush
2. Never camp with ranged green cards (Tag Androids, UL Vegito so on..), makes the game extremely unfun.
3. LF only when someone is playing a toxic team/playstyle
4. Send a gg message, be a good sport :)
1) is blatantly false especially when u are dealing with extremely tanky characters that would be near impossible to kill without a rush
2) just be aggressive or u can use the new tech quick attack to force them to play
3) I always LF everyone not because they are toxic but because I like seeing the animation
4) I mean sure?
#6: Don't be too predictable!
This is a 10 outta 10 list but I would also add the bonus of the benefits to charge stepping over side stepping but other than that its perfect.

@@Trus-Ty its better to side step with strikes for 2 reasons.
1. You get more ki (depending on the character)
2. It gives you more chances to draw cards
But charge stepping with blast cards is far more beneficial. U gain more ki, have a much larger opportunity to draw cards, and damage fall off is far less.

i watch jp players and know 'kaihi2, kaihi mite, UG etc' these are the literal meaning xD
don't forget you need to know osoi kaihi aka slow vanish, hayai kaihi aka fast vanish to use this perfectly
I somewhat use all of these technique. But i still dont know how to do properly is cancel blast animation to tap enemy if enemy just vanish your blast. I always end up double mini dash not tapping😑 Would you care to explain it @Goresh?
