VCC - Student Project: Everglades National Park

Step into Loggerhead Marinelife Center's(LMC) Virtual Coastal Classroom (VCC), where students are encouraged to take on the role of a scientist through engaging lessons from the field provided by our all-female team of teaching scientists. In this lesson, discover the importance of the Everglades National Park and what threats this critical ecosystem is facing. This project was created by the student, Taylor Soto, for completion of the Master of Professional Science Internship at the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science. This project aligns to Everglades Literacy Principles #2, #5, #6.
