I used to watch this show as a kid, and will admit that I enjoy them more now then when they were originally on television. There was reputedly an episode where Marlin Perkins and his crew captured a bear in the Florida swamps, but the bear had actually be place there beforehand by the production team. I wonder if this was that same episode?

That was a big mess with the bear not sure why they didn't use a tranquilizer

The bear would lie down the swamp and drown easily.
