I did the same thing for my x. You r husband is genuine. My x has her license too. I did the same things to her back in the 80's. She just loved being on the back. We just grew out of love. I take some of the blame. We just stopped communicating. Always talk and be honest. Listen, I am not perfect but I'm lonely. I have been divorced for 3 official years but it was longer then that. Beautiful bike! Thanks for sharing this! I've got a 2019 ZX6R, the KRT model of course because Kawasaki green is the best color. 😀 💚 When people don't let me pass and are driving aggressively, I usually just let them be and stay back behind them. The last thing you need while riding is an aggressive and pissed off driver behind you. If I'm in a mood I'll lane split around them and accelerate away hard to get them way behind me. I'm always paranoid there will be a cop there to give me a triple-digit speeding ticket though, lol.

@@tiphonthetwos7918 I’ve been around bikes for couple decades. I know exactly how different bikes and exhaust sound like. Trust me. The Best sounds come not from modifying pipes but the size of the engine. Doesn’t matter if some 4 cylinder Honda Civic installed big fat loud pipes to make noise on streets you can hear this fake burping sound of a small engine. Nothing beats real sound of a V6 or V8 engine. On bikes from 250cc through 750cc it sounds like a lawnmower weeder 2 stroke engines no matter what type of exhaust pipe effects people try to put on. Nothing beats solid full blast 1 Liter through 1400cc sport bike. Hey! If you like the sound of a smaller engine you enjoy it! Whatever floats your boat! Bikes look awesome anyway! But if you wanna play in the big leagues get at least 1L bike.

You and I are the traffic we create by riding! It’s so much more fun than just an empty street! It’s such a rush riding between lanes and showing off your bike to cage drivers, their kids drooling out their parent’s vehicle windows, others nodding with approval and jealousy afraid their wife in passenger seat will notice his secret dreams of owning a bike. Nothing like the feeling of free flight through the air without car cage around you robbing you of the freedom as you move through space at speeds few can achieve with a twist of a wrist.

The freeways out here in California are rough surface concrete like a cheese grader. You just have to get used to the riding gear while on the bike. Boots are a good idea. Usually it only takes one time seeing what a road will do to regular clothing and your skin. Also you have to stay on high alert while on these socal freeways I’ve been hit twice this year on the 405 from cars jumping the double lines into the HOV lane
That's a good looking bike actually. The spy shots which revealed this bike back in Aug 2020 didn't do justice to its new avatar. Much appreciation and love from India for the bike and for the Ninja couple :-). We hope to see this bike in the stores sometime in March 2021.

@@tiphonthetwos7918 I guess i'm defending myself now! Lol! We talked about it, but her issue was not me getting a bike, but it being a sportbike. She wanted me to get a cruiser. NOT! So I explained to her that that cruisers have just as much power, if not more, than some "sport bikes. I even gave her a few references like the Triumph Rocket Roadster, 0 to 60 in 3.3 seconds Ducati Diavel, 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds, Yamaha Star VMax, 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds is quicker than the GSXR1000's 2.7 seconds! But I was wrong, dead wrong for not telling her at the time I was getting it. But this is my dream bike! I live in Connecticut and cant wait til the weather breaks!
My wife bought me a world class Superbike a Kawasaki ZG 1400 Concours 2012 it was so comfortable and I loved it. Kawasaki is the best in the world ask JR who has 6 Consecutive world titles on his. She bought it with my money! Lol.

Greetings, as a longtime and knowledgeable rider I enjoyed your article. I currently have a older ( 03) zx6r 636 ninja, in silver metalic. Allow me to shed some light on your hubbys new bike. Kawasaki's zx10r was first introduced in 2004 to replace their long in the tooth zx9r. The new zx10r had a much shorter wheelbase ( I think around 1430 millimeters) than the zx9r, which resulted in much faster cornering abilities. It was a handful in novice hands, and would easily loft the front wheel skyward even in third gear due to its short wheelbase. 155 bhp( brake horsepower) was unheard of in that small a package. To respond to various silly comments about your bike sounding like a lawn mower (????????) Its because of the layout of your bikes engine. Your 650 is a parallel twin ( two cylinders, side by side) engine design , as opposed to hubbys zx10r which is a in line 4 cylinder engine.thats why it has a different sound than the zx10r. I would suggest possibly taking some time and familiarizing yourself with basic controls, for your own safety. The rocker switch on the right clip on ( handlebar) is a universal " engine stop switch" which has been used on Japanese bikes for the last several decades. I have to add I am just a little jealous regarding your social media skills with regards to producing a cool video like this with all the editing and graphics. I have no idea how to do that. But I do know a little about motorcycles. Also love that lime green color of your bikes, and especially the graphics on the " 10". Kawasaki's choice of green ( Honda red, Yamaha blue, Ducati red also) for their factory race teams color years ago was the most attractive I always thought. I love it... :) and I’m the only one riding it... maybe one day I’ll graduate to a 10 or bigger and get that sound from my bike that so many LOVE... But right now... I”m content with my 650...Ive only been riding Consistently since August.. and I hear so many stories of people starting on bikes MUCH smaller than mine..... You had plenty of room to get around that guy. You just don't recognize it yet. In time... Also, when the cars are side by side is the safest time to get through since they're not likely to change lanes as they do when staggered.
Yes... What you said about the cars being side by side being the safest... I JUST REALIZED recently... i rode yesterday IN TRAFFIC and i felt like a pro... lol.... I was splitting those lanes like they were nothing,... traffic was horrible and Side by side cars all around... lol... it was the best... Thanks for your comment
@@tiphonthetwos7918 Congratulations, you have arrived. Just make sure to look way ahead of you. The cars you're next to are no longer an issue for you. Also, scan the drivers. They almost always give you hints that they're going to change lanes and you can see it well ahead of you if you have good vision. Before you know it, you'll be using "The Force." LOL But seriously, you will just know it.

When people don't let me pass and are driving aggressively, I usually just let them be and stay back behind them. The last thing you need while riding is an aggressive and pissed off driver behind you. If I'm in a mood I'll lane split around them and accelerate away hard to get them way behind me. I'm always paranoid there will be a cop there to give me a triple-digit speeding ticket though, lol.

@@tiphonthetwos7918 I’ve been around bikes for couple decades. I know exactly how different bikes and exhaust sound like. Trust me. The Best sounds come not from modifying pipes but the size of the engine. Doesn’t matter if some 4 cylinder Honda Civic installed big fat loud pipes to make noise on streets you can hear this fake burping sound of a small engine. Nothing beats real sound of a V6 or V8 engine. On bikes from 250cc through 750cc it sounds like a lawnmower weeder 2 stroke engines no matter what type of exhaust pipe effects people try to put on. Nothing beats solid full blast 1 Liter through 1400cc sport bike. Hey! If you like the sound of a smaller engine you enjoy it! Whatever floats your boat! Bikes look awesome anyway! But if you wanna play in the big leagues get at least 1L bike.

The freeways out here in California are rough surface concrete like a cheese grader. You just have to get used to the riding gear while on the bike. Boots are a good idea. Usually it only takes one time seeing what a road will do to regular clothing and your skin. Also you have to stay on high alert while on these socal freeways I’ve been hit twice this year on the 405 from cars jumping the double lines into the HOV lane

So I explained to her that that cruisers have just as much power, if not more, than some "sport bikes. I even gave her a few references like the Triumph Rocket Roadster, 0 to 60 in 3.3 seconds Ducati Diavel, 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds, Yamaha Star VMax, 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds is quicker than the GSXR1000's 2.7 seconds! But I was wrong, dead wrong for not telling her at the time I was getting it. But this is my dream bike! I live in Connecticut and cant wait til the weather breaks!
My wife bought me a world class Superbike a Kawasaki ZG 1400 Concours 2012 it was so comfortable and I loved it. Kawasaki is the best in the world ask JR who has 6 Consecutive world titles on his. She bought it with my money! Lol.

Greetings, as a longtime and knowledgeable rider I enjoyed your article. I currently have a older ( 03) zx6r 636 ninja, in silver metalic. Allow me to shed some light on your hubbys new bike. Kawasaki's zx10r was first introduced in 2004 to replace their long in the tooth zx9r. The new zx10r had a much shorter wheelbase ( I think around 1430 millimeters) than the zx9r, which resulted in much faster cornering abilities. It was a handful in novice hands, and would easily loft the front wheel skyward even in third gear due to its short wheelbase. 155 bhp( brake horsepower) was unheard of in that small a package. To respond to various silly comments about your bike sounding like a lawn mower (????????) Its because of the layout of your bikes engine. Your 650 is a parallel twin ( two cylinders, side by side) engine design , as opposed to hubbys zx10r which is a in line 4 cylinder engine.thats why it has a different sound than the zx10r. I would suggest possibly taking some time and familiarizing yourself with basic controls, for your own safety. The rocker switch on the right clip on ( handlebar) is a universal " engine stop switch" which has been used on Japanese bikes for the last several decades. I have to add I am just a little jealous regarding your social media skills with regards to producing a cool video like this with all the editing and graphics. I have no idea how to do that. But I do know a little about motorcycles. Also love that lime green color of your bikes, and especially the graphics on the " 10". Kawasaki's choice of green ( Honda red, Yamaha blue, Ducati red also) for their factory race teams color years ago was the most attractive I always thought. You had plenty of room to get around that guy. You just don't recognize it yet. In time... Also, when the cars are side by side is the safest time to get through since they're not likely to change lanes as they do when staggered.
Yes... What you said about the cars being side by side being the safest... I JUST REALIZED recently... i rode yesterday IN TRAFFIC and i felt like a pro... lol.... I was splitting those lanes like they were nothing,... traffic was horrible and Side by side cars all around... lol... it was the best... Thanks for your comment
@@tiphonthetwos7918 Congratulations, you have arrived. Just make sure to look way ahead of you. The cars you're next to are no longer an issue for you. Also, scan the drivers. They almost always give you hints that they're going to change lanes and you can see it well ahead of you if you have good vision. Before you know it, you'll be using "The Force." LOL But seriously, you will just know it.

Get back your lazy ass to work and do what I did: 1) worked your butt off! 2) Stop wasting your money on crap and save save save! 3) invest into Bitcoin NOW before it goes to $30K and then $50 and $150k in 2021. And then Bitcoin will buy you an bike or three and then YOU can buy HER a red convertible she always dreamed of.
