Never be ashamed when it comes to having trouble understand written patterns. I have always had trouble understanding them myself. But I do not give up until I get it. But I am with you when it comes to diagram. The first time I worked on a project (doily) it was so much easier for me. And like you I like seeing the picture just to see if I'm doing right. Great tutorial Mikey. You're the best.
I had a hard time understanding written patterns for a long time also. I actually learned how to read graphs from one of your tutorials! I think reading graphs makes it easier to understand patterns. Great tutorial by the way, as always You Rock Mikey 🖒💜👏👏👏👏👏

Awesome, love it ❤️, I have just finished crocheting my paid blanket poncho and I can't get over it,, too excited to be able to wear it soon, it took too much patience as you said Mikey but once you have it completed its all worth it 😍 thank you so much for explaining it, wanna share the pic of my completed project 😊
How are the strands so secured when they seem so little? The 4-6 stitches having spaces between seems to not be as tightly stitches as they are when crocheted without the spaces. So I worry with the stragglers being small & seemingly not secure how easily they could unravel.
I make humanitarian ponchos for people with cancer and breast feeding. Unfortunately synthetic materials like acrylic yarn is not so healthy for people who have immune problems.
Unfortunately, when I do anything with Wool or natural stuff, people give me a hard time over that as well. Allergies, reactions, and more. Hard to please everyone.
I am so sorry but you are overwhelming and so hard to follow I just watched a different video on how to do the scarf by someone else completely understood it. you have me so lost on what you are doing and i have been crocheting for almost 40 years. I am going to just follow the other one for the scarf and then just add rows to it till it is the size i want. I dont mean to be rude but you need to watch one of your videos and see what you do. or something you have done this before to me. maybe its just me.

To make this larger, I'm guessing you would need more repeats in the middle and then widen the neck opening.
